There will be a whole new Lincoln nameplate on the market with the Star, but don't be surprised if not all of the concept car's awesome features end up in the final product. The purpose of concept cars has always been to hint at, but never actually implement, novel concepts.
Midsize and featuring a striking cabin, the Star Concept SUV foreshadows Lincoln's electrified future. After much anticipation, the Star, along with a number of other Lincoln electric vehicles, is expected to hit the market in 2025, perhaps around the end of 2024. According to Lincoln, the package will include electric powertrains with either rear- or all-wheel drive. Sculpted front and back bucket seats, an integrated beverage cooler, crystal embellishments, rose gold-colored trim, and a full-width digital display adorn the concept's cabin. A huge front trunk with a sliding compartment provides extra storage capacity, and the outside design resembles a cross between an aviator and a spaceship.
Depending on the trim level and available features, the price of a 2025 Lincoln Star might range from $70,000 to $85,000.
We have a good idea of what the base pricing will be, which is around $70,000, but we don't know if the Star will stick to Lincoln's current trim scheme or go its own way. In the event that the lineup remains unchanged with the base Standard, Reserve, and Black Label models, the Reserve, which falls in the middle of the pricing range, is expected to provide the most value for money.
