Running My OWN Job - Using a Husqvarna!

- Mainly a POV video of running my own job of the first time. Removing A leggy Sycamore on a steep hill over a BT line, next to a road. Overall a relativity straight forward job to be honest. I enlisted the help of Vally Arbs with their ground work, truck and chipper. I also got a chance to try out Husqvarna's battery top handled saw - huge thanks to Dan. All timber was later cut up on site for firewood. Watch the video to see how we get on, the weather was lovely!. 1:50 just some friendly advice on this close call… You should communicate better with your ground guys or teach them their first day (before ever stepping on a job site) to be more aware of what you’re cutting and what’s falling where… that log could’ve bounced differently and really hurt the clueless ground guy
Thanks for the comment, This was the first time working with the lad. It wasn't a close call though there's like a 3ft wall with a lip that you can't see. That stops anything from going into the road. The grass section is actually a steep hill. That's why he has no concern. I new any logs would stop there or I would have called "below" like I always do. All the guys I work with communicate really well and this can be seen on all my content. Great to bring it to everyones attention though thanks.

It's just stock as far as i'm aware mate.
What make is the tool clip and where did you buy it from?
It's the DMM Valt. They do a locking gate like the one I have and they also donated wire gate too. Lots of places available online. Honey Brothers, Gustharts and Skyland are the company's I generally use.

As a solo working man, what would be the best way for me to find the small jobs nobody wants to waist their time doing? I wanna dip my toes before i jump in the deep end? Ann Arbor Michigan area
Thanks for your comment, I guess you could speak to some larger firms and see if they pass you work? I price for everything and if I can do it on my own I will. Just depends on the size of the job. If it means getting more lads and equipment in then I will. I haven't advertised as such and locally it's all small stuff anyway where I am.
