I always found ODST to be more... real, somehow. It felt more like you were actually a soldier in the field just trying to survive long enough to complete the objective, rather than a living weapon going on a rampage. Sure, playing as Chief or Noble 6 is fun, and Halo Wars did a good job of increasing the scale to the whole battlefield instead of just one tiny bit of it at a time. But ODST put you in the POV of those Marines and occasional ODSTs you were fighting alongside in the other games, you got to see the battles from their perspective for a change. I found myself being a lot more tactical in ODST than I ever have been in the other games. I'd duck in cover more, changing weapons more often to suit my scenario instead of religiously holding on to the ones I liked. The VISR was a great addition and makes up for the loss of the motion tracker(that thing never really worked for me anyway...) and I loved that Bungie brought back the health packs. What was everyone's favorite ODST mission? Mine was either NMPD HQ or Kikowani Station. I was playing through Kzingo Boulevard the other day and noticed that there were extra tanks spread throughout the mission, including at the start. Just beyond where you get into the tank there's a second one on a ramp, and if you keep going past the barricade behind it you'll find extra rocket launcher ammo. Little interesting tidbit for you if your tank gets damaged, or you want to get some extra rockets

@@mryeast101 I disagree, Halo CE, 3/ODST, and Reach campaigns can be awful at times, but I found a majority of the time if I adjust my strategy slightly I can get through a section only dying once or twice. However, with Halo 2 the game forces you to win by trial and error "sniper jackals' and halo 4 imo is just boring.
