I respect the marines but my salute goes to the troopers of the UNSC army they gave almost everything to prevent the fall of reach and earth (in the next halo I hope to see more of them)
UNSC Army was pretty much always a suicide job when the Navy got destroyed as their only remaining job was to delay the Covenant so civilians could escape.
The true heroes of the Humanity, the men and women in the marines, army navy and whatever who fought, bled, cried and died to protect humanity. As long as humanity stands, they will never fade into memory
I know is kinda odd, but I loved to be the Marines' Babysitter while playing Halo games, not only because I loved that feeling of fighting for someone alive and at the Frontline with me and a lot less powerful, scared but decided to fight. I know they were NPCs, but during each mission, they were my NPCs, my fellow brothers in arms. Also it was paid off widely by keeping them alive, because they become a real army with the best vehicles and weapons and then, they're not longer running away, but fighting back and throwing in terror to our foes. As Rtas Vadumee once said: "These are my élites, their lives concerns me but yours not".
Those on reach knew at a certain point it was no longer a splinter group, and that a full on invasion had begun. Things went from assaulting the covenant head on, to defending highly civilian concentrated areas, to hit and run tactics just to buy time for a group of special soldiers they'd never see or hear from, fighting tooth and bloodied nail down to the bone. The real heroes of reach of all those that payed the ultimate sacrifice.
"Winter Contingency, galaxy wide... All Spartans past or present are needed back in the fight. You are ordered to find whatever gear and armor you still have and get it to us for refit, or get something new on. A threat to all life in the universe has broken free..." "Calling all Spartans... It's the end of the world again!"
"ALL YOU GREEN HORNS WHO WANTED TO SEE COVENANT UP CLOSE? THIS IS GONNA BE YOUR LUCKY DAY!" - Sergeant Major Avery Johnson Honest to god reason I love the UNSC's Marine Corps in Halo (plus Stacker and the ODSTS)
16:01 I can almost imagine what the few marines could have felt aboard an Elite carrier literally a few days after they were still massacering each other, getting ready for a full on assault on an ancient installation to stop a maniac from killing everything in the galaxy
This sparks fiery plutonic explosion within thy soul. I’m now seriously depressed that CE is forgotten. Such heresy does not go unpunished. ;) Vamonos mis amigos!! 🇪🇸🇪🇸👌🏻😉
i like when the halo books paint the halo universe as this dark and grim, depressing place where there is very little hope in survival. and then the video games paint the world as the same thing but the marines refuse to yield, even if its a zero chance game. they are so ready to die for earth
Imagine if somebody would make a story based on this songs, a story about 4 brothers and each of them is different marine - one is an ODST, other just a trooper, third is a space marine and the last one is a guard.
“Why do we always listen to this old stuff Sarge?” “Watch your mouth son, this old stuff is your history!” “If the Covenant want to erase this part of my memory, fine by me.”
Brothers in Arms has always been a favorite of mine whenever I run, be it on the treadmill or on the road. Liked a 10 minute extended play of the original but this longer one adds variety... Nice...
Not gonna lie, if 343i would make something like another Reach game based on their comics or even something before that so we can play as not only Noble Six, but the whole Noble Team in different missions like it was in ODST... Ooo, that would be awesome.
Picture this: 343 gets its shit together and makes a game based on the Marines that takes place during Halo 2 and 3. We get three trailers, each playing one of the Halo 3 Brothers in Arms versions. They make it on a souped-up Halo 3 Engine to capture the nostalgia, and the trailers show three different battlefields, that being New Mombasa, Voi and The Ark, each one showing a small scale skirmish between Marines and Covenant, then flushes towards a larger battle, with Voice Actors of Chips Dubbo, Stacker, Cobb, Reynolds (Who sounds alot like Buck), Johnson and other Halo 3 Marines present, and even putting in a reference to Halo 3: ODST by a Phantom being tagged as friendly by a squad of Marines. Maybe even show the Elites fighting alongside the Marines so we can see more of that alliance.
We need a halo game where we play as a unnamed marines like in odst but all the marines are unnamed just a soilder fighting to protect what they hold close to them

Imagine being in the shit and surrounded by a bunch of banana eating overlords throwing Danny DeGruntos at you that are holding bright blue balls and this starts playing
Danny DeGruntos got me, thank you lol.
"Shooters never have good soundtracks."
Halo series:
I dunno who said that but he's a fuckin moron. Halo, Doom, Overwatch, Destiny and the list goes on
@@yasininn76 so true
@@yasininn76 Overwatch had music?
Mass Effect?
Halo used to be more than just another shooter... 🙏🙏🙏
The best thing about this song is that this is preamble of the biggest fight in the Galaxy. No matter how long I been playing halo this is by far the most encouraging song in the saga.
"This Is Our Land" and "Follow our Brothers" will always be some of my favorite tracks from any ost.
I really hope there'll be a Halo Infinite version of this and many other Bungie-era songs.
Possible
I hope so considering we got Through the Trees
And I hope that the soundtrack isn’t just a bunch of redone old songs
@@Betito1171 Each Bungie Era Game had new songs and renditions of other songs before them
@@Betito1171 that's kinda what they are doing now
Also the 3 dislikes are from the covenant or turncoat marines or possibly insurrectionists. Also did I forget to mention when I was a wee child in halo I thought of the marine as my own brothers. Literally would sob if they died in front of me or feel sorrow. Guess I felt like I could always save them. Also if your still reading thank you for being a good listener and be safe. Please and also
*"Keep your finger on the trigger and keep your eyes downrange and we'll all make it home in piece.* *Am I right marines?* *Marines:Sir yes sir!* *Damm right I am.* *Now move it up!* *Double time!* *To all those greenhorns who wanted to see the covenant up close.* *This'll be your lucky day."* Forgive me if the speech was innaccurate.
*Edit:Now 4 dislikes on the video. Just why... ;_;*
Although I disagree with disliking this song because of how good it is, people unfortunately have different tastes in music
Why dislike it tho
Wise words mate.
Keep the fiery spirit alive!!
👌😔🍺🍺🙏🏻
ODST, Trooper, Marine, Airman
For the CE theme, the rest of them idk but the image shown for the CE theme is pretty cool.
@Steven DeNoyer STUDENT lol no I'm talking about the first image that appears when you click on the video, but ya I like the thumbnail too.
I respect the marines but my salute goes to the troopers of the UNSC army they gave almost everything to prevent the fall of reach and earth (in the next halo I hope to see more of them)
Don't forget Harvest.
@@Guardsman-sy8qm remember harvest
UNSC Army was pretty much always a suicide job when the Navy got destroyed as their only remaining job was to delay the Covenant so civilians could escape.
Master of the masterpieces.
Woah, its like a... Postcard!
I picture this as the perfect morning alarm with an inability to shut it off.
I literally blasted this and yelled "THIS IS FOR JOHNSON YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!!" when he died.
"ALL YOU GREEN HORNS WHO WANTED TO SEE COVENANT UP CLOSE? THIS IS GONNA BE YOUR LUCKY DAY!" - Sergeant Major Avery Johnson
Honest to god reason I love the UNSC's Marine Corps in Halo
(plus Stacker and the ODSTS)
When you workout to this you don't even notice it.
"The Covenant is holding a picnic down on the surface of that ring, and every single one of you is invited." -Major Silva

I can almost imagine what the few marines could have felt aboard an Elite carrier literally a few days after they were still massacering each other, getting ready for a full on assault on an ancient installation to stop a maniac from killing everything in the galaxy
You good person has rightfully earned a sub. Righteous and go on.😎
This is what halo series need man this kind of bad ass music from the games to make it more epic
I'm glad the home front track was added
The second level right before the silent cartographer was such a perfect piece of art, music and gameplay. I'll really never forget it....
my respect for the marines skyrocketed when i saw what the lore accurate grunts, jackals and elites were like
This sparks fiery plutonic explosion within thy soul.
I’m now seriously depressed that CE is forgotten.
Such heresy does not go unpunished. ;)
Vamonos mis amigos!! 🇪🇸🇪🇸👌🏻😉
Es una pena que en muchas países halo no haya recibido todo el protagonismo que merece pero los pocos que lo conocemos somos unos afortunados
Very Nice Indeed
Sure is a treat. Ain't it?
Bungies Halos : Brothers in Arms
Halo Infinite : Sisters Holding Hands
Halo infinite better have a marine firefight mode
That would be sweet.
heh, halo 3 odst
Without that fancy ablative regenerating armour the expanded universe likes to pretend ODSTs don't have.
Purely limited health, please.
Don't forget the navy, as a sailor myself being isolated from home and family for so long without rest is a battle within itself.
Absolutely epic, one of the best halo OST's
i like when the halo books paint the halo universe as this dark and grim, depressing place where there is very little hope in survival. and then the video games paint the world as the same thing but the marines refuse to yield, even if its a zero chance game. they are so ready to die for earth
Imagine if somebody would make a story based on this songs, a story about 4 brothers and each of them is different marine - one is an ODST, other just a trooper, third is a space marine and the last one is a guard.
There are tears...
“Why do we always listen to this old stuff Sarge?” “Watch your mouth son, this old stuff is your history!” “If the Covenant want to erase this part of my memory, fine by me.”
"Alright marines move it! The Corps ain't paying us by the hour!"
I just got out of the gym. I just listened to this. I'm going back in.
“Sir, yes sir.”
Brothers in Arms has always been a favorite of mine whenever I run, be it on the treadmill or on the road. Liked a 10 minute extended play of the original but this longer one adds variety... Nice...
"Once more into the fray, into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live and die on this day, live and die on this day."
Not gonna lie, if 343i would make something like another Reach game based on their comics or even something before that so we can play as not only Noble Six, but the whole Noble Team in different missions like it was in ODST... Ooo, that would be awesome.
I'd love to be able to locate that mid section of follow our brothers, where it's that tribal drums meets military snare
The game could take place during Halo Reach
And it could be like Halo Reach where we customize Noble Six to where we can customize our own Marine or your own ODST
Master chief bless Martin o donnell
9:33 that's the kinda brass that makes you die for your species.
You forgot the Halo Legends version.
I think I left that one out since it felt a bit disconnected from the other Brother in Arms versions. I'll see if I can edit that in as a bonus track.
Every single Halo game should have a ''Brothers In Arms'' song
Thank you, Marty.
The only thing missing in halo in my opinion is a HUGE fight with hundreds of marines against the covenant, tlotr style
That's one of my favorite music in Halo soundtrack!😁
But ofcourse when I doubt, every day when u hear this ( pulls out my energy sword and SMG from halo 2 ) brothers in arms....to the end
This is the last land of our brave brothers in arms.
Perfection
AMAZING !!! LOVE IT !!!
I remember first hearing this in Halo 3, never forgot it though. XD
This gives me tears of joy. 😭 👍
21:01 I keep imagining the UNSC fleet coming out from hyperspace to help Master Chief
I love fighting along side my marine bros i would love a halo game where we could play as a customisable marine.
I would dig it. ODST was great, but I feel like a Marine/ODST game with a battle royale and firefight mode would be even better now.
"the walls are in your heart"
The absolute Marines moment Halo theme
We need a halo game where we play as a unnamed marines like in odst but all the marines are unnamed just a soilder fighting to protect what they hold close to them
Would anyone know where I can locate The Few, The Brave on its own?
I found it on McChaffee (the creator)'s SoundCloud, but has since been taken down. I would upload it on its own but I don't know if he'll like that
@@therealsirchewy probably wouldn't be best to post it without the creator's approval.
I wonder why he took it down to begin with?
In the battlefields, but also SoundCloud
@@paysonwright117 Don't know. Not sure if it's been reuploaded since it's been a while since I've visited soundcloud, but last time I did it wasn't there.
