Looking forward to following this build. I've been thinking about building my own tuber just wondering about dimensions and how to scale one accurately.
That was a wicked looking buggy, I wish it would have been better documented in their PBB build thread though. It had some cool touches but they just didn't do a very good job of showing it in the build. You have a build thread?
I know what you mean but I do not like PC on rigs that I run hard. You can't touch it up or make any chassis changes without a lot of work to have it stripped and recoated. The nice thing with paint is that touch up and chassis modification is quite a bit simpler. I do really like the way PC flows and covers though, I have a setup and oven at the shop.
If you go to my website (link on my channel page) I have a scaled chassis plans so you can print them off and lay your tubes right on the page. Takes the guess work out of it. They are free to download, just go to the Ibex Goat section on the right side of the page.
Chassis plans for this truck do not exist, it was all free hand. If I get a chance down the road I may draw up some generic plans for people to use as a base.
That chassis looks pretty wild, cant wait to see the progress on this one. cheers.
