I always love watching Bible reviews. I already have all I need. But I still love them.

I have a Dake Study Bible. It is the best reference Bible on the market. Over 500K cross references. Too bad his theology was so aberrant. I preached my first sermon over 30 years ago. My topic was the 70th week prophecy in Daniel 9:24-27. This prophecy is the center of all biblical prophecy. I had to literally stop at 10 references per verse in my cross references. The study took 2 weeks, and the congregation was greatly encouraged. If you get the Dake, my encouragement is that you chew the meat and spit out the bones. Finis Jennings Dake was an amazing man of God, but he lived in a time of great prejudice, and it showed in his notes.

I love my dakes. My grandfather was a preacher and always used a dake. He wore them out lol. Now I pastor a Church of God here in Kentucky and so thankful for the foundation he helped me lay for the Lord.

I have been using the Dake Annotated Bible since 1987! I wish there were Dake Annotated Bible conventions/Bible Conferences for us analytical Bible students!

I have had mines for 20 years. Same one. It is beaten up. Because it has been in many battles for the truth of God's Word. It is my go to study bible. It has defeated Catholics dogma, Jehovah Witness dogma, SDA, Atheist, and taught the unlearned. It is worth it.
Some of the end of Book, extra topics titles reference the chapter & verses for review. Great review. Also, it's a go to for an instant sermon. ✝️

I believe there is one God the Father and one mediator between God and man. The man Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. The Father and the Son share in one Spirit. The Holy Spirit.
I have enjoyed my Dake bible for well over 30 years eventhough I don’t agree with all of its doctrinal beliefs and commentary; it has alot of information that a seasoned believer can sift through. A wise man will hear and increase in learning. Line upon line precept upon precept here a little there a little.

The best of study bibles is the worst of study bibles for a beginner. I would recommend Dake's Annotated Bible to a mature Bible Student. Finis Drake did invest decades into producing the commentary for this bible. So, don't count it out.
There are hundreds of sermon outlines in this commentary meant for Pentecostal and Charismatic Christian ministers. They can be used for anything from family devotions to pulpit meat for Sunday Sermons.
Again, just like when one eats chicken at Sunday dinner ... eat the meat but spit out the bones.
This should be done with every all commentary in any study bible.

Use the Expositors Bible Commentary instead.
If you have to say, “We are all a heretic at least once in our life” to justify using the notes, it’s probably not worth using.
Everyone is a heretic.
@@OneAccordCrusadesInternational So what you are saying is that we cannot find the truth? Are you saying that reading the Bible leads to heresy? Why read the Bible if the best we can do is heresy?
Run from the Dake Bible. Dake was not a scholar; his interpretations are way off. It is packed with poorly research content.
Thats exactly why I love it cuz he WASNT a scholar. He was Holy Spirit led. Scholars are usually the biggest hacks.

Both of these comments are silly. The Bible is pack full of notes, it’s great and I say eat the chicken but spit out the bones with everything.
If you were a trained exegete , you would not be promoting it.
