I do not like how this bus looks at all. However the idea of a low floor bus is great.

I love driving one of these things (mine's a newer 2019 model with the RAM wordmark on the grill). The only annoyances are the location of the service door (behind you) and that it does take a *lot* of room for the ramp to extend out - not ideal in some sidewalk and school area pickup/dropoff locations. Yes, it's a Dodge, which does make certain things suspect - it doesn't help that I haven't driven mine since December due to a recall affecting the transmission (surprise?). BUT - for the value, it's a great vehicle. Easy to drive, and the driver's seating position is like you're in a larger bus.

Why choose to base it off a Ram Promaster and not a Ford Transit?

It's FWD. FWD allows for an extra low deck (floor) height.

I see the direction they were going. Yes the ramp is great compared to a lift. BUT that ramp looks like it can fail.
Dodge/Ram isn’t a good vehicle, should have put it on the Fords. That passenger are should have either kepted the seat or did something to make it look so full, it’s just a stupid design.

I dont see this being a big seller cheap the first thing to break will be the ramp I bet. Dodge is not a good product for a school bus. looks Cheap.
