I do wish all electric school buses had solar panels, and a generator that way the batteries can get a free charge from the sun, and a generator back up on cloudy, snowy, and rainy days. Solar panels, and a generator can be a life saver during a power outage.

I like the head room..just wish I had a ramp out the back for motorcycles..lol

Do anybody have an idea on how much this bus will cost?? I’m just looking for a rough estimate

This could be a great Electric RV with some modifications.

Why choose to base it off a Ram Promaster and not a Ford Transit?

I see the direction they were going. Yes the ramp is great compared to a lift. BUT that ramp looks like it can fail. Dodge/Ram isn’t a good vehicle, should have put it on the Fords. That passenger are should have either kepted the seat or did something to make it look so full, it’s just a stupid design.

We are experiencing an acrid, electrical smell on both of our 2017 Ford Transits. Same mileage, same problem. Started 2 weeks ago. One is at a local Ford dealer who is stumped and we are driving the second one which is almost unbearable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We drive hospital employees exclusively. They will be taken out of service out of safety concerns if we can’t get a handle on this problem.

I love driving one of these things (mine's a newer 2019 model with the RAM wordmark on the grill). The only annoyances are the location of the service door (behind you) and that it does take a *lot* of room for the ramp to extend out - not ideal in some sidewalk and school area pickup/dropoff locations. Yes, it's a Dodge, which does make certain things suspect - it doesn't help that I haven't driven mine since December due to a recall affecting the transmission (surprise?). BUT - for the value, it's a great vehicle. Easy to drive, and the driver's seating position is like you're in a larger bus.

I do not like how this bus looks at all. However the idea of a low floor bus is great.

I dont see this being a big seller cheap the first thing to break will be the ramp I bet. Dodge is not a good product for a school bus. looks Cheap.
