It's probably because the shows were never consistent. By the time commercials really started happening in 1980, there were multiple different cabaret characters, portrait shows, Balcanies, etc. That was part of the pull was every location being different, so they never showed the show itself because it would not match up with the commercial. Showbiz only had to worry about that with location 1.
6:50 - I wish the Chuck E. Cheese's version of the "Two Good Reasons" commercial with the dancing walkaround Chuck E. Cheese in it in place of Billy Bob surfaced.

I really wish I could've been there, but they closed down way before i was born. It's so sad that they closed and turned into Chuck E. Cheeses.

I was born in 2011 so I was never able to go to showbiz, I only got to experience 1 animatronic stage in 2015 or 2014 at chuck e cheese's.
I've experienced it when I was 5 and my sister was 4 and I remember she threw up after eating pizza and soda to lol.
