I like the commercial with the You can giggle, you can wiggle, you can flip your lid. That was my favorite because I had that one stuck in my head all day! I decided to create my own version of that commercial. I told a fake audience that my teacher, Ms. Martha, yelled at me, Mom forgot to pack me Babybel cheese and chocolate milk, and my friend, Sam, never got in touch with my emails. Then I let this song play. You know, the one that says You can giggle, you can wiggle, you can flip your lid. Yeah, that one. My favorite characters are Dook LaRue, Billy Bob, Mitzi Mozzarella, and Rolfe and Earl because ... 1. Dook is a dog and I love dogs (they are super affectionate and sweet and cute) and also he was the drummer of The Rock-afire Explosion and I used to play drums back in middle school. 2. Billy Bob is from Tennessee and that's where all the country music singers like my faves, Brett Young and Kelsea Ballerini are from, plus he's a kidder. He loves kidding around with you. Just like how Chuck E. Cheese is my favorite at Chuck E Cheese because he's the mascot of his own chain, Billy Bob is also my favorite because he's the mascot of Showbiz Pizza Place. 3. Mitzi Mozzarella is the youngest member of The Rock-afire Explosion and has a big crush on Michael Jackson and I can relate to her because I love Michael Jackson. I love his song, "You Are Not Alone" because it's my favorite song in the world besides Plain White T's, "Hey There, Delilah." (which Billy Bob sang on an old TH-cam video Rock-afire Explosion fan Chris Thrash posted during the year 2008). Plus I'm obsessed with people who are the youngest in their family like this Broadway celebrity I'm getting a private lesson with soon, Erika Henningsen. She's the youngest out of three. She has two older sisters. 4. I love Rolfe and Earl 'cause I admit, Rolfe is a jackass and he's, according to Chris Thrash from the 2008 documentary, The Rock-afire Explosion, "A Nobody wanting to be Somebody." It is fricking funny and Rolfe is nothing but mean to the band. He's such a fucking asshole! Earl, Rolfe's ventriloquist puppet, is always trying to make Rolfe stop, but he can't do anything about it because Rolfe is a fucking stupid bitch! Man, I wish I were born in the 80's so I can go to this place! I would just be a good little girl so I can get to go to this place, play some damn skee ball, and watch the animatronic puppets tear it up onstage.
@@celticwarrior5185 When was that? I imagine for some of the emplyees working there was hell. Kids screaming, parents getting pissed off when the food isn't right. Food getting thrown and messes everywhere. Yeah i can see that.

1980’s saw Showbiz, Toys R Us, many skating rinks and putt putt go cart track places pop up. We had Transformers, GI Joe, He Man, matchbox/hot wheels, Saturday morning cartoons, holiday special cartoons, riding bikes, throwing nerf footballs, Walkman radios, slot race car tracks. So much fun

This place was my childhood and it was good pizza soon as Chuck E Cheese took over the pizza tasted worse than Little Ceasers . Frankly a Kroger or Aldi brand (Momma Cozi's ) pizzas are better. Showbiz and Pizza Hut were neck in neck back in the 1980's for the best Pizza. Ours Closed at 901 W Lake Street (West Lake Plaza) around 1998. Chuck E Cheese rebranded in summer of 1998 and the quality went out the door. RIP Showbiz. Im 41 we used to go here every weekend after we shopped at Venture Stores(Save With Style) Children's Palace and then Showbiz our grandparents would take us to these three every weekend like clockwork. Grandpa would even play the video games with us kids.

Same!! It's so so sad Showbiz pizza doesn't exist anymore. Chuck E Cheese is starting to fade out too, it will be a distant memory
Didn’t know Chucky E Cheese’s was still around in the 2000’s. Went to both places as a kid. It was a fun time.
3:57 okay damn??? 😳 that just happened lmao
OMG!! I so blessed to been able to celebrate a birthday there when I was little.😊
Lucky!
Im an 80's kid too and my parents never took me there. 😢
Blessed? More like CURSED to celebrate birthday in that joint 😲
@@winning3329 Consider yourself blessed Miss Kitty... Showbiz Pizza was horrible, believe me from experience....
@@celticwarrior9123 just because they scared you doesn't mean every child in the world is too
Showbiz Pizza is in fact the best pizzeria in the 1980's and the best place for pizza and fun and entertainment, gotta love Showbiz Pizza
I love the commercial with the kids on the couch discussing the prime-time drama "Dallas". Back then you had to watch whatever the grownups wanted because most households only 1 tv.
I took my son to a ShowBiz pizza place in Lansing Michigan back 1995 for his birthday party. Was a fun time good food
I love Showbiz Pizza Place 1980 Commercals so much
sue!
That Gorilla still scares the shit out me 30 yrs later.. How did they think he was anywhere near kid friendly is beyond me.
No where near as terrifying as Uncle Klunk
Me too, that fatz guy is nightmarish
We got to have the Gorilla guy in the next FNAF game🤣

I’m glad I missed this. I’m terrified
You're lucky. I wish I grew up in the 80s. Seemed like an awesome time to be alive :(
I wish Showbiz was still open have a birthday next month
@@becca6836 bro are you really scared of a stuffed animal with no legs
The concert with the characters scared the hell out of me when I was a child. But playing all of the fun games was so much fun.
The kid in the basketball commercial.COME ON GUYS...COME ON GUYS...I still say that like him to this day lol
Come for the pizza 🍕, stay for the fun! 🕹 📷📸
Rectown Killa cause showbiz is number one!
The video games were fun, but the pizza and the service sucked.
@@celticwarrior5185 When was that? I imagine for some of the emplyees working there was hell. Kids screaming, parents getting pissed off when the food isn't right. Food getting thrown and messes everywhere. Yeah i can see that.
My dad used to go there as a kid but now the place is an auto zone
Nobody:
Scott Cawthon on 2014: Immabout to end this establishment's whole career.
Chuck e cheese already ended this establishment's career back in 1990
@Zacobie Dyer Ok i'll edit it
Show biz pizza bought chuck e cheese when it was bankrupt and then decided to change the showbiz pizza locations to chuck e cheese
Sorry scott, Chuck beat you to it

SO GLAD I WAS AN 80's KID! NEVER BEEN TO SHOWBIZ PIZZARIA, BUT I'VE BEEN TO CHUCK E. CHEESE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN I WAS YOUNGER😊😃😁
Took me back to my childhood here in Houston Texas
There was a SBP on Antoine and Little York in the '80s. It became a CEC for awhile.
I remember going to showbiz as a kid I loved it
1982, I once hit a guy in head that was sitting dining area with a wooden skee ball when I was 3. Apparently I just perfectly launched it over that 1 foot gap between the brick wall and the ceiling that separated the gaming area. Bounced right off his cue ball.
I still remember my first time going there. My parents bought the doll. The 80s were a great time to be a kid
3:26 lady:Let me give you a big kiss!
Kid:See what I mean?
LOL
I remember going to showbiz in the 80’s as a kid! I thought the pizza was good, but I was a kid.
It's crazy to think that showbiz pizza place will be 55 years old 13 years from now.
Ours was "Chuck E Cheese's"
not "Show Biz," Both the same Company
but two different themes.
I was 7 years old in 1987 and
Chuck E. Cheese was FUN as all heck.
It was EXCITING when you found out that your Dad was taking you there for Dinner because you did good on your report card!
I heard there is a bar somewhere that has a working rock a fire band… I would love it if there was one in every major city! God knows I would go!
Billy Bob used to bend you over his lap, and give you a spank for each year on your birthday! Can you even imagine them doing that now? 😂
Showbiz was cool...and still is!!
Is it bad that I'm interested in the video and audio quality?

2-THAT FUCKING ANIMATRONICS ARE SO SCARY

Malachi Arciero it merged with Chuck E. Cheese’s .
1980’s saw Showbiz, Toys R Us, many skating rinks and putt putt go cart track places pop up. We had Transformers, GI Joe, He Man, matchbox/hot wheels, Saturday morning cartoons, holiday special cartoons, riding bikes, throwing nerf footballs, Walkman radios, slot race car tracks. So much fun

Pure nostalgia for 80s kids
Our childhoods were commercialized in the best ways possible.
That third commercial with the little boy tryna play basketball with everyone really takes me back
Fr watching that was a blast from the past lol 😆
I intentionally searched for this.
I remember showbiz pizza place FATZ Geronimo and his band the rock afire explosion sang happy birthday to me when I was a kid
I still hear that song in my head when i had my birthday party there.
Good memories, being a kid in the 80's. We went to the Show Biz in Orange Park Fl.
That ShowBiz Pizza Place Band was nightmare fuel!!!
I rembember I used to watch these types of videos in 2017 when I was a young kid it was a lot of fun
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how lucky our parents were to be able to go to places like this?
My dad went there too
I actually worked at a Showbiz as an arcade machine mechanic.

@@celticwarrior9123 get out of this video bruh
My favorite place to go as a kid

You had a Showbiz in 98? I thought they all EOLd or branded as Chuck E Cheeses by 1992
That, "Where a kid can be a kid" thing causes me to hear the showbiz commercials in my head when I see the Chuck E Cheese commercials.
