The Reading line goes from Wyomissing Junction in Wyomissing Pa and meets the Lehigh Line in Bethlehem Pa. The Line is 37 miles long and goes through picturesque small towns such as Blandon, Fleetwood, Lyons, Topton, Alburtus and Macungie. There are also many farms and the countryside is absolutely beautiful.
My dad retired from NS Railroad as a line maintenance foreman out of Norfolk, VA. Still remember, as a kid sitting on the rail yard, watching these big toys roll thru, or headed to the coal pier to load the ships. I still get excited when I see them to this day.
Awesome story!
WOW great filming I just love watching the locomotives rock and bounce over switches and to think they're only doing around 50 mph they just seem to be moving so much faster.
Thank you very much!
@@CigarSmokingRailfan great film work to.
Awesome video man! That first train was truely hauling ass right there! He slapped that switch at like 50-60MPH. Also nice to see NS 1065 trailing third! Awesome video here!
Thank you!
Very nice 👍👍
Thank you 👍
GREAT VIDEO!! I got most of these trains at RV26 btw. Sometimes, I was alone when I got some. Also, you received a new subscriber
Thanks so much!
The one at 5:38 is going so fast there's a super quick pitch drop on the Doppler. Cool stuff, I always love seeing the fast ones
That train was booking!
Magnificent catches of the trains coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars, keep up the great work, my friend, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
Greetings from the USA to Portugal! Here in America, our trains use the long-long-short-long pattern as they pass over crossings. In some places, we have slow orders in place, such as derailment sites for example. At derailment sites, slow orders are put in place to help salvage crews do their job as they scrap railcars that can’t be repaired.
Thank you!
Flying!!!! HAMMER down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice catches. I was lucky a few weeks ago i captured 4 N/S locomotives a Union Pacific and a Kansas City Southern intermodel unit at Hershey. And the Conrail Heritage at Hummelstown Pa.
Sweet!
@@CigarSmokingRailfan Thank you. I just subscribed to your channel.
Living in the Greater Williamsport Metropolitan Area, I hear Norfolk Southern all the time sounding at a crossing about a minute or two away from my home.
I would love to live by the tracks!
Nice catches mate!
Thanks!
What camera did you film with?
Panasonic X1500
First train had the S&A Heritage Unit trailing 3rd
Nice and You saw Bus #13 is a Brandywine Carbon and Brandywine Carbon runs for Jim Thorpe School District and Nice you got 4621 and 4622 I didn't see the new engines yet and Saw 4038 and 9548 last Sunday the 15th
Good ole bus 13
4621 I saw leading 29G & 11N recently. It has a Newcast P3 now
Old NS did not fly so well through East Palestine.
NS locomotives in my humble opinion are the worst units to run ! Cab setup is just so odd and they have way too many unnecessary switches and gadgets ! True story !
I hear you and more color on the locomotives would be nice!
