@@mikebrennan9633 I completely understand that actually. I met my personal hero once, got to hang with him and his band backstage. While they signed a bunch of stuff for me and my friend, my mind was screaming at me inside "say something, you F'n Idiot"!!! Couldn't strike up a conversation about anything at all, which rarely happens to me. I really should have gotten drunk before saying hi...lol. That was 8 years ago now and I still regret my silence. Thank god my friend filled in every awkward moment.

thats awesome, I really wonder if they got the neck shape correct. I have a 79 and have owned a 2008 silverburst and the neck shapes were not the same, the 78-81s have a unique thin shape. Congrats

@@davidking2835 I haven't weighed it in any real fashion, but just holding it and playing it, the VOS is definitely lighter than my vintage silver burst.

I'm aware Aussies are massively penalized by Taxes but pretty much for everyone outside of the US, any American made guitar that's not meant to sit in the more affordable tier costs ridiculous amounts of money... Some places around Europe or countries like Brazil where import taxes send prices through the roof make it damn near impossible for anyone who's not rich to get their hands on instruments like these

Of course he’s attentive! They are charging 3 times what they should for a guitar. How many more hours does it really take to make the custom? I doubt it’s thousands of dollars difference…

It was one HELL of a journey, with the best possible ending. Forever grateful to Cesar, Gibson, and of course Play and Trade. This story leading to me calling them friends is the real MVP

Cesar reached out to me personally when he saw my interview with Play and Trade. Just kinda went from there. Play and Trade set it all up really, Gibson was super responsive and welcoming, can't thank them enough. Once in a lifetime trip that'll I have memories of forever.
