NOTE: This is the VHS version of the first six-episode season of Ivor The Engine, released in 1991. By that time (and prior to 2023) this was the only way to get these episodes, and you couldn't get the further twenty-six episodes from the following seasons. Nowadays you can get the 2023 DVD or Blu Ray box set and watch these episodes in high quality. This is uploaded for archival purposes and isn't meant to stop you from getting the DVD or Blu Ray box set, though it will cost you almost an arm and a leg if you do get it.
Well, I'm not actually Oliver Postgate, but I do recommend buying the 2023 DVD/Blu Ray box set so you can have every episode as it was broadcast on both ITV and BBC channels.
I'm surprised you managed to timestamp the whole VHS here. Also, it should be noted that each episode is shown as they were originally broadcast and how you can see each episode restored on DVD and Blu Ray nowadays.
You mean Oliver Postgate? Well, he was the author of the Ivor The Engine stories, with Peter Firmin illustrating them, but you must remember that the first six episodes on this tape were broadcast before the colour episodes on the BBC. It does have a few colour episodes on the tape, but for the most part the first year of Ivor episodes based on the book The First Story are the main focus of the tape.
