Thank you for listening!! The name of our ensemble originates from the constellation Orion’s Belt, which has three stars. It represents "a cosmic gateway between the earthly and spiritual realms, illustrating how we can use our free will to ascend to a higher plane of existence through creative power". Orion himself is an archer in mythology, so he holds a bow and arrow, directly correlating to the bow of the cello! 🙏🏻
