Quick tip Dan, when starting out just hang out, level up and kill the first elite who drops a scroll. Then make your way over the free scroll and wait to level up the skill you take to level 3 so you have a chance of upgrading it. Makes the rest of the run much easier to handle. You have plenty of time to grab everything.
Its better to rush for the free scroll first. That way you can start leveling up the first ability much faster. The first levels are quicker. If you are lucky with the rolls you might even have a level 3 ability by the time you kill the first elite.
The standard attack stats are listed at your character sheet ingame on the right side and is always called "Main Weapon" The Abilitys are on the second tab and you can click on them to get some stats but they are missing some. The Abilitys also have more then 1 evolution, i think you need 6 standard upgrades to get the 2nd one. If you wanna see the full potential of a Ability it is good to focus on 1 for a run and always pick the upgrade for that ability if it shows. The 2nd level Ember Grounds is probably the best for it. Gz for beating your first Lord ;)
I think the cleric weapon has two very different trait so that we can customize its range and damage. As the damage is split between all enemies hit you can chose to give it: +50% range but then you will hit more enemies but for less damage or -30% range so it will hit less enemies but it will nuke them
Daaaaaan, the default ability is in the Character page when you press space or click menu during the game. Also you can click on the Ability in the Ability page to see their stats. You're missing a lot of info 'causs you seem disinclined to click and explore menus xD Sorry, it's just that I've seen you miss out on a lot of info in other games as well just 'cause you didn't try clicking, right-clicking, or exploring controls sometimes. P.S. The +Range on Cleric is the trap. Unless you have an obscene amount of +Attack, you're delaying killing everything, allowing them to push closer to you. But if you have lower range, the damage spread is less severe, allowing you to create an instant-kill zone, which is better with more attack speed as well.
Bought the game after watching you, well worth the 5$. Ruby crown with exterminator got me my first clear, even beat the first end boss with the help of a revival ring.
Cleric is easily one of the strongest characters. Amazing for damage dealing quests the downside is like the exterminator the base weapon can not crit, but they both have infinite pierce.
@@mintleaf68 I know his sub weapons can crit but I didn't know that his primary weapon could. I'm not even sure if crit perks show up until you have a subweapon that can crit. I could well be wrong though and honestly I'd like to be.
Yeah so it doesn't show initially you can bypass this by either wearing the 10% crit ring or getting a crit ability but once your exterminator has crit his fire can crit on initial hit, he's my first maxed character so I tested it a few times
I think your transfering rules from another game into this one. If you wait by a new weapon the scrolls for 15 minutes you just miss out on a extra weapon being active for that time. I do understand why you are doing it you want a higher chance of seeing a buff to the same weapon you are focusing damage into for example the main weapon. But the reason you mentioned afew times where weapons 'evolve' at specific levels deosn't happen. They can be evolved before you put any levels into them doubling their damage in some cases. Would be cool to see you come back and try beat the Aquaduct. If you dont return to the game thats fine. I know you primarily play Hades and I enjoy that content as much as these videos. 850 damage to only a single target. The 850 is split among all enemies hit. Archer has ridiculous range and multiple projectiles + piercing. It is balanced.
Idk archer pierces 4 targets with 50 dmg baseline. I personally think she sucks. Dmg upgrades are weak needs ton of multihit and pierce to be good. Boss dps is just awful
well the thing about it is you arent comparing these weapons in a fair way. First off they dont share the same attack speed and secondly they dont hit the same amount of targets or times. If you compare a shotgun to a sniper rifle and say one pellet hits for 1 damage and the sniper can hit for 100 damage you would also think the sniper is one hundred times better than the shotgun but fact is you can shoot the shotgun 4 times before you can shoot the sniper and it hits 30 times per shot. Then the shotgun does 120 damage and the sniper does 100 making it better. So like probably better to think about something before making silly statements.

Exterminator can crit he just starts with 0 crit

First boss generally drops a Scroll, the second boss usually drops a chest, but from what I've read they have a 50/50 chance to drop either.
Elites drop the scrolls, bosses drop chests and the lord is the final enemy after the 30 min mark.
