NUMB still brings tears to my eyes, the into crowd goes off, then the light shines on empty mic and crowd are stunned for a moment. no Chester.....it is heart breaking, but amazing to see how crowd take the lead in the song

"One More Light" was always hard to listen to, but even more after Chester died. This one is beautiful and sad at the same time.

Most of these are a disgrace to be honest. Almost every single performance was simply terrible.
The chester's voice is irreplaceable ... but I can feel his presence in Mike's voice...no one else.
You know his voice is something special but you just don't realise until you watch these other talented artist try to match him.

According to me, you feel his presence in Mike's voice because in a majority of the songs, Chester had his voice synced and backed up with Mike's. Moreover, it's a human psychology to turn more like the person the most in touch. So ig listening to Chester's voice over and again for Mike may have had made his voice like that.

I'm 21 years old, I start to hearing about Linkin Park around 7 years old, this band, this music, mike, chester.
All of that help me really help me thru difficult times, I regret never ever going to one of them concert.

Watching this again years later, I think my favourite part is right around 2:15:55.
The crowd knows they're singing Chester's part, but they love the whole song so they're singing with Mike as well. Then there's the moment where tens of thousands of people all realize "wait, Chester's part is coming and we don't want to screw it up, so I need to stop singing with Mike for a second."
You can clearly here it get quieter for just a second before they all sing for Chester. Just incredible.

This was so great and emotional, there were great performances but no one can replace Chester, his voice was unique and it's really hard to think that we will never see Chester performing with the band again, like I still cant believe it, I hope LP will keep making music but at the same time makes me wonder how their songs and shows will be

I think he did not break during his performances because he both loves and respects Chester too much to allow himself to break on stage. I am sure he broke many times offstage, and while practicing, but this had to be done right.

LP was my whole childhood.. and they still remain in integral part of my life today. As someone who suffers from depression, I always looked up to Chester and felt every single lyric he and Mike wrote to the core 💔
Some wounds never really heal; they turn to scar tissue. But every now and then, the wounds re open and the pain is excruciating. It’s almost like revisiting the original cut.. Some days I feel I’m revisiting the news of Chester’s death and the pain from it is undeniable.
I started listening to Linkin Park mid 2019. Yes, I am late to the after party. But their music helping me through rough times in my life really shows how this band is still relevant to this day. Chester may be gone, but the impact on the lives he’s helped will forever live on. Wherever you are Chester, I hope you’re enjoying yourself there. Not every story has the perfect ending, but the legacy you left behind is inspirational to many today. Thank you Chester.

I started listening to them just the day Chester died, his news was everywhere trending so I thought of checking Linkin Park out and I realised how awesome these dudes are and so was Chester 😔
to those who are saying that Mike isn't as good as Chester was. yes. it is true, Chester is irreplaceable. but Mike did a fucking good job of it despite that. and after Numb at 25 mins ish you could tell from his voice that he is torn and so fucking sad about everything. he sounded almost at the point of letting the tears loose. so he did a cracking job of it despite Chester being irreplacable

Finally ! MIke is not as strong but his voice is defo not in the best shape - he sounds hoarse when he talks and when he sings, he's really trying hard not to choke up. He is a Hero to all LP fans for doing this for us. MAssive respect and I love him to peices. He's clearly struggling with his grief more than what i thought he would - He's lost loads of weight, his eyes look sad and he doesn't have the same happiness in his voice but he still put on a show for us. HERO!
I absolutely *hate* that some people think Mike didn't care enough about Chester and/or that the band isn't suffering "enough". 😞 I've read some pretty insensitive and ignorant remarks, here and there, suggesting that *the fans* are taking Chester's death *worse* than LP. 😲 To people who ever thought that, you're a bunch of *cruel asshats* , and the surviving members of LP don't have to prove *anything* regarding their love for Chester to you. True fans have recognized their love for him *all along* ....but if people were looking for "evidence" and using this concert as "proof", you've been *woefully* underestimating their love for their brother /band mate...plus, *ignoring* the "complexities" of the grieving process (which is different for everyone).

Linkin Park was my first favorite band. I grew up with them, and i remember hearing Metora first at age 6, and I loved it. Then, I went back and listened to Hybrid Theory and I knew at that moment I found the music I would grow to love even more. And I did. Every record that came out I would put on repeat almost until the next. I saw them live in 2011 at the gexa energy pavilion and was absolutely blown away. I still have my ticket stubs to this day, 6, almost 7 years later. The music this band put out got me into live music, and even inspired me to pick up the guitar, and piano. I will always remember LP and I really hope this all leads to a new chapter, and not the end of one the best bands of my life. I respect every artist that they shared the stage with on this day, but even more respect for the band themselves. It could not have been easy, I mean i'm not even there, nor did I know Chester and i'm sitting here in tears... Mike, Brad, Rob, Joe, and Dave, Thank you for everything. For inspiring a generation. And most importantly, for being you.

Chester Bennington and Robin Williams held me through my childhood and died in my childhood. I will never forget the ones who spoke their pain to help others going through the same thing. I miss them both so much but Chester was always the only celebrity I related to as a kid. I never even liked music but I loved and still love linkin park. The world to me hit a devestating checkpoint when I heard chester was gone.

I had to skip past that part the first time I watched this...it was heartbreaking. That's the song that always resonated with me the most. Hit way too close to home for me but really sealed the deal on making me a die hard fan. Such a beautiful song.

Mike was truely amazing here, he played the keyboard, the guitar, the bass, he sang, introduced everyone, was a frontman, talked to the crowd. Chester is irreplacable, but they dont want. Thats why they didn't play this with only one guest singer. And how great was this! Amazing artists, amazing crowd, to tribute an amazing person. In my eyes, Chester was one of the best singers of all time, because he was great in so many genre. Chester we love you!

Yes I agree it was a great concert , and for me Alanis Morissette was the jewel in the crown but I felt that it was extremely sad that no one can ever match Chester (not even close) and it just made it hard to watch without his incredible powerful voice . The artists that honoured him did a great job and fans should be thankful of that and to be honest I now feel sorry for Mike and the boys and their future with LP without Chester .

Watching a broken man singing with all the strength he has left
He is definitely one of the strongest persons I've ever seen. Can't imagine how many tears did he shed, but this performance was incredible and his voice never broke. Not even once. It shaked of course, but he managed to get through in every single one song. He is not broken, we just have to give him energy and strenght and love as much as we can!

I cried and I’m 66 years old. My daughter who passed in 2006 always wanted to take me to a Linkln Park concert. We never seemed to make the time. Now she’s gone. Then my second oldest daughter said the same thing. So some 20 years later, she got us tickets. Then Chester passed. I wish I would have made time when my first daughter asked. Good Bye Chester. I never got to see you and the band but you touched our hearts. All of us.

It took 2 years to bring myself to watch this. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my face, smiling from happy memories with this band and everything they mean to me. I cannot thank them, especially Chester, enough for everything their music did for me. Your music helped me through some of the toughest times of my life, even to this day.

No disrespect too any of these artists, because they're clearly more talented than me, but hearing these people sing Chester's words makes it even more evident how truly amazing Chester's voice and his presence on stage was. He had one of the greatest sounds I've ever heard. Amazing talent, their will never be anyone else like Chester.
