LHTPerformance : Installed Kraftwerks Supercharged, alpha series headers, lighten fly wheel and ACT hydraulic clutch 76 mm mega power exhaust system on my O6 Civic Si with 385 whp but have check engine light on. We replaced the sensor but still the same. Any solution clearing off the check engine light.
I love the exhaust set up! Here in Virginia we have to have a cat to pass inspection (and I can't stand the smell of a catless system). Could I order an exhaust from your shop with this high flow cat mod exactly like this?
These Civic Si blocks can typically run up to 500-550whp, if turbocharged, on a completely stock block. This particular kit, I've seen just about 440whp out of it, without over spinning the rotrex unit, or even touching the internals, or etc.
What were the extra mods needed to get to that 440whp level? what is your max effective redline without over spinning the supercharger on this kit? I was looking at the TVS 1900 kit but if i can squeeze 440 out of CW id rather go this route. thank you in advance
@@Christusolus running a 3inch exhaust, larger throttle body, upgrading to a cold air intake, porting the intake manifold, ect. The intake that comes with these kits sucks in hot air from the back of the motor. LHT has made a better intake that takes in cool air from the front of the car. Doing the things Ive listed is good for just over 400whp. To get 440+? Im guessing you would need to start looking at a mild cam or spin the supercharger more.
@LHT Performance do you have any experience with the Comptech Engineering, or Merc Supercharger on an Si? Any preference or concern on one you like best?
I have use Comptech kits many times in the past. Biggest issue is heat as they are non intercooled. I like the idea of the Merc racing kits but never used them.
There’s many waste to identify this, knock can be often seen as a slight mis fire before occurring. I like to read many aspects, the knock sensor won’t tell you everything.
@@sleeper.simulant7327 possibly I just think some Joe blow got a new car and threw that shit on the title for some likes if you ask me but hey what do I know
Jose Villegas don't fuck with a sc. go cheap. spend 138$ on new air intake. new exhaust select the make you want. range price from 150$-300$ get the basics. take out all interior except driver and passenger seats. and you will see tremendous results for a total price of about 500$-750$. now if you have lots of money then get the sc but we are talking anywhere from 2,000$ to 4,500$ to go that way.
Jose Villegas lol for the love of god please don't listen to this guy. No decent exhaust goes for less than $270 at the moment... for starters... a decent catback is going to run you $400+
Also, removing your interior pieces and seats won't make a huge difference. It's not going to matter unless you're doing it for competition purposes, which i assume you're not. Leave your interior alone. The plastics and rear seat cushions are nearly weightless. You could probably lose the same amount of weight by removing your spare tire kit lol.
It doesn't matter with this kit, these rotrex units have their own form of measurement, they run 1X,XXX rpms. However, these block typically cannot handle more then 8800rpm.

Love the way that exhaust sounds!!!

Hellll yeah! Love my alpha and q300 after she all broke in!! Would be PERRRRRFECT for turbo/super mc charged! Not too quiet not too loud
Car sounds great
Check out LHT Performance on facebook, We just did a 2011 Civic Si with the same parts except greddy exhaust and it make 369whp
LHTPerformance 369 whp on wat gas?

did u change any internals? and its making 300+ HP?

Just added the SC.

How much does it cost ? LTH performance hit me up
how much would this kit cost and installed on 08 honda civic si sedan
How is the maintenance on this car?
Can anyone reply please i have a skunk2 exhaust and really wanted the header but really wanted to keep my Cat how did you guys keep the cat
I'm in on this, what cat was used? Did you have to cut the indvidia exhaust and weld in the cat?
i have the same civic, how much you charge ?
How much, just got a silver fa6
So this car will handle everything that you did? Without anything breaking??
The99210 We built this car 5 years ago. It’s stilling running fine.
LHTPerformance just with skunk 2 headers and nvidia exhaust?
civic si sleeper kraftwerks supercharged jrsc
civic si hfp kraftwerks jrsc supercharged
how many miles have you had the SC without any problems
These kits don't need any maintenance for the first 100,000 miles i believe. As long as you use the standard size pulley.
Hey man how did you get a cat hooked up with the header and exhaust?
We welded the cat directly to the exhaust and welded the female flange to the other side. It bolts to the header in the normal manner.
My question though is, was this the stock cat that was welded on? Or is this an aftermarket cat?
what kind of clutch is that? and did you tune it on 91octane? i have KW kit
Clutch Master FX300
can you hook up a super charger without turbo?
Yes.
+Shawn Booth they are two different types of boost silly
There is no turbo?
Stock TB?
Won't matter either way it's a blow through system.
Unless you're pushing close to 600, you're good with the stock TB on a blow through system.
I don't hear the whine of the supercharger?
Centrifugal style, sounds more like a turbo, you can here the whistle
@@sleeper.simulant7327 possibly I just think some Joe blow got a new car and threw that shit on the title for some likes if you ask me but hey what do I know
I do hear some kind of whining, though. It seems to be coming from this area.
So the supercharger kit kills the VTECH engagement?
if an engine is tuned correctly you wont see a huge Vtec jump or dip.
does the installation affect the reliability
of the civic?
Of course. Once you mess with the oem settings, you run the risk of your car crapping out on you.
how much for this set up ???

I have a 2007 Civic si & I bought a Tsudo 70mm catback for $270 & with shipping I think it ended up being about $320.
quick question. Isn't the engine not supposed to rev past 8300rpm for this charger on the civic? Or it doesnt matter much?
It doesn't matter with this kit, these rotrex units have their own form of measurement, they run 1X,XXX rpms. However, these block typically cannot handle more then 8800rpm.
***** We are already over spinning the charger at the 8400 recommended .... 8800 will cook the internals and you will be out 2500 real quick.
