Peter Marshall is still alive. Maybe because of aĺl the stress reducing laughter from Paul Lynde. Marshall has the biggest most beautiful, toothy smile.

Not true. They may not have liked each other but Buddy’s laugh was genuine. The combination of the punchlines written for Lynde combined with his excellent delivery of those particular jokes were right up Buddy’s alley and enough to crack him up.
You're so very welcome! I'm a Paul Lynde fan myself. & I've loved him so much since I was a youngin & I've loved everything that he was in. Even the movie that was a flop called "Rabbit Test " the ratings were so bad but I liked it cuz it was stupid and that he was in there.
@@PaulLyndeBlue Thanks. I've never heard of "Rabbit Test" so I'll look it up. He was just so funny, with that fantastic laugh. I adored "The Perils Of Penelope Pitstop" and "It's The Wolf! Paul Lynde was so good in early days of the show he kicked loud mouth Bud Hackett off the center square.
To be honest with you think Buddy Hackett was extremely annoying and trying to be the center of attention.
Too bad these stars are no longer here. I used to watch the Hollywood squares. Great memories with these clips. Thanks for sharing
I think Karen valentine still around🌼
Paul lynde voice was great in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop
The shows where Paul isn't center square must have been early in the series.

Paul was the Squarest Square that ever Squared!
I could hear Michael Landon's laugh in there.

Paul Lynde didn't really have to say anything funny.all he had to do was break his sentences in half.i just love the way he talk.
Omg I know right! Literally anything he said would make me laugh my butt off
Ron Desantis is Paul Lynde nephew
He was funny in cactus jack as nervous elk 😂😂
My favorite (at 6:15) is the one about the number of men on a hockey team.
Both Buddy Hackett and I thought it was hilarious.
He was also Mildew Wolf in the cartoon It's the Wolf !!!!
Ah yes a segment of The Cattanooga Cats series.
