Well for me in Fortnite the left stick button was the D pad and the square button was the x button

The ds5 controller has connection issues with firetv stick 4K that I’ve noticed. It works perfectly fine with other devices like an iPhone etc. I’d suggest using the ds4 controller with Amazon devices to avoid issues.

As of today no, it all depends on Sony and Amazon allowing that ability and if the game you're playing will also support it.
