I remember him for the featuring at "Ben Hur" with Charlton Heston. He was a Roman Centurión. Thanks THAMES TV for remember us this Moments!! God bless you!
I still love the story of why Ernie went to television. A kid didn't know who he was (even though Ernie won an Oscar). The kid asked him what TV show he was on...and that's when Ernie called up his agent and told him to accept the offer for him to play on McHale's Navy!!!😁😁😁
Bloody ridiculous that they can't show a clip of the scene he was talking about because of some jerk in the copyright department, what happened to TH-cam why was it blocked, it was show but TH-cam decided they can't let us watch it because someone wants to get paid, again and again and again?..
33rd Degree Freemason............... just read it over on his wiki page. I only looked on there because my intuition threw up a red flag. Proved right again.
So he was a Freemason!! That`s so very significant and such an important thing to draw our attention to! Many thanks for alerting us to this horror! Keep supporting that wonderful intuition of yours, do keep waving that red flag and keep being proved right yet again - I just know you will...
Such a lovable man. Wish he was still here.
Love him. Ernest is such a vivid storyteller. He is missed by all of us.
