Hey, so as some of you have pointed out, there are a lot of subjects I either didn’t go super in depth, or just didn’t mention at all. Minecraft Speedrunning is absolutely massive, and there is no way I could’ve covered everything in a single video, so I mainly streamlined my focus to the any% glitchless categories on Java edition for reasons stated in the description. Maybe one day I will make a different video that covers stuff like glitches, category extensions, bedrock, etc, but for now, I’m happy to have finished this video, so I hope you enjoy!

Fun fact: TheeSizzler was on top of the SSG leaderboard for so long that it took my a YEAR of speedrunning to try and beat his time. I only got second behind him until a new seed was found. His run was phenomenal

For anyone confused, Dream did *not* fake his 3 1.9-1.15 former world records. He did fake his 1.16 rsg pb of 19:24 with an rng manipulation mod that made his ender pearl trades better. He started cheating because he was sick of the heavy resetting it took to get good ender pearl and blaze rates. However, this heavy resetting *did not exist* at the time *in 1.9-1.15,* and therefore he had no reason to cheat. *Dream never spliced his runs, he used a mod in some of his 1.16+ runs to improve RNG*
@@CaliSPICY i wasnt trying to imply that he did it intentionally or not and i assume you saw the karl jobst video and are not a dream stan. When i said he cheated i meant in manhunt but yeah i agree after karls vid
I feel like pikaj had to say that "Nah dream would never cheat a run" after the 1.15 part If he said the run was good he will be labelled as a dream stan lol
You should cover CTM speedrunning in some video, I know it's a small community but it is different from other categories so it could make an interesting video. apart from that, this was a good and fun to watch video.
