- This video is from 4D North End Clinic featuring a presentation on logging operations by Russ Segner on 2 July 2020. Russ models in Sn3. He starts the clinic with a brief introduction of his layout's track plan, then some excellent video shots of a long train moving from camp to mill on his layout, and then a slide show giving an overview of the key elements of modeling a logging operation. At the end he answers a few questions from the audience.

The incorporation of the stairwell for a line is an incredible addition! A fantastic use of all available space.
we agree!

Good to know!
very nice! thank you
Thank you too!
A trifle hard to hear the narration over the sound of the loco.
We all know what locos sound like
Maybe mute it or turn it way down
Yes, we had some trouble with the audio on that video. Sorry about that...
The layout was just awesome, It drives me nuts when people in our hobby run their mouth when they don’t have all the facts. I believe. there room for all this great hobby. Most people I know don’t like blowhards.
Your a Master Model Railroader?? Never heard the term before? Is it a fake, made up or some NMRA Nit Picking rivit counter Title in a asso. that I would never consider joining? I've been a model railroader for over 60 + years in every scale including manufacturing in a major company. And even building, running 7 1/2" gauge!. I guess that makes me a Super Master Chief Model Railroader then..Eh?
Master Model Railroader is a legitimate Title for talented and dedicated Model Railroaders. The title is not fake and not some NMRA Nit-Picking Rivet Counter Title. A quick bit of research could have informed you of the legitimacy and prestige of the Title of those few who have dedicated themselves to earning the Title of Master Model Railroader.
