It's a shame you can't run all your motive power on your layout. I've done that in the past too. I thought 28" R curves would do, but found many medium to large brass steam won't tolerate even 32". My ultimate layout (someday) will use no less than 40" main curves. 28" min. spurs, and min. no. 6 turnouts, even though I focus on small 1880's steam now. It just makes operations and visual authenticity better. And if I ever decide to pull a Northern or Challenger off the display case, I'll be able to run those every now and then too.
This is a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation that Lee shared in a live Zoom meeting online. We recorded the Zoom meeting on the host's computer and edited it using iMovie on a MacBook Pro. Then we exported the video file from iMovie to an mp4 format and uploaded that to TH-cam.
