No, I think this is one of the few modern designs that is actually good. There is always a compromise between quick steering for slow speeds and tight single tracks and stable, slack bombing head angles as well as high bottom brackets for climbing in technical terrain and low bottom brackets for bombing downhill. This gives you both in one bike. You get a 130mm travel cross country bike and a 160mm travel enduro bike all in one package, without having to compromise each. It's a very simple locking air spring, not much to go wrong. I'm sure even if it has an air leak it can be locked in either position anyways and be ridden like normal.
+Heinz Ketchup If so (I haven't kept up to verify) then they probably have a QC/manufacturing issue. It really shouldn't have any problems, it is like a shock, but simpler. If they have problems with that, they are doing something very wrong. But, the same thing can be said about dropper posts.
