Niko Bellic is the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV. These are the criminal charges he would have faced had he been arrested after the last mission in the storyline : "Out of Commission"
Canon ending and no optional kills included. Enemies that would have been shot by an NPC working with Niko would still have led to Niko being charged with felony murder so are killed by Niko for easier kill counting.

Working it out, if the sentence for First Degree murder is 20 years, that's a body count of 150.
Factor in time between missions I'd imagine Niko is likely responsible for the deaths of at least 1,000 people in-game, be it by his hand or him causing their demise.

@@watevr4evr that is entirely true. If someone was to enter a home unlawfully, they get charged with the robbery if the buddy break in with tries to kill you and you killed them instead that self-defense you’d get charged with the robbery and nothing else.

Feels like some of the GTA protagonists could get one more felony on top, for driving around without a driver's license. Niko obviously fits that criteria, same for Claude (as in GTA 3), CJ and probably Tommy. Other protagonists are either born and raised locals, or they've moved to the new place for so long they already obtained their licenses like those two from GTA 5.

Actually theirs would be much less than Nico's. As there were more optional kills in those games. CJ might get more though because he stole property of the military similar to the Merrywwather heist in GTA V🤣🤣. CJ didn't give a fuck about the government unlike the GTA V trio.

Fun random fact, in the mission where niko is sold out by Dimitri, you will notice in the cutscene Dimitri is taller than niko. This is a fun fact because of his execution scene, where niko shoots out his kneecaps.
