Only the 11 apostles(and apostle Paul ?) , and the 11 apostles had the authority from Jesus Christ to baptize people in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost came on them ( Matthew 28:19, 28:16, Mark 16:15, 16:14) , there are several cases in the Acts that apostles baptized people in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost ( Acts 8:15, 10:44 ).
And believers are seeking miracles signs and wonders everyday...we have miracles on a daily basis. 1) we are saved by grace...MIRACLE! 2) we have the Holy scriptures...MIRACLE! 3) God himself living inside of every believer...MIRACLE!

I have some questions...The meaning of indwelling you used the word permanent, what if I sin and the holy spirit convicts me and I ignore it and continue to sin even more does the holy spirit still stay or does it goes away?
When I was saved it felt like being in electricity, minus the pain. Then I cried and laughed for days like a mad man, I never felt a high like that. My gift is to not be good at anything and serve as a bad example. "Don't be like that guy, throw him out of the church".
Now I have not seen anyone who has been baptized with the Holy Spirit or of Christ (Romans 8:9), in other words, they are unsaved (Mark 16:16) and cannot be called Christians, so right now there is no true church of Christ. "Church" has become a historical term, and there is no church today.
Brother that is so far from the truth. The church of Christ is for today and always until the return of Jesus Christ to gather all of his body, past present and future. You are either looking in the wrong places or you may need the Lord to open your eyes and heart. I say this with love and discretion in exhortation. God bless you!
