I wanted a camera for the longest but I recently upgrade to the iPhone pro max and let me just say the camera on this is insane. I still want a camera later on but for now my phone will do and this kit here seem like the perfect thing for someone who into vlogging

Do you need an actual case or am I able to use my iPhone 14 pro with this? I don't like to use phone cases so just wondering if the iPhone mag is strong enough to attach to this.
I have the earlier version, the Pro Grip. I like it and it works well, but for some reason I use it that much. The snap grip seems like a nice upgrade, the magnetics make getting it attached easy. I think the main problem with both of these phone grips is that there a bit over-priced for what you get. Just my opinion of course. Great first look at the Snap-grip, thanks for sharing.
Does the trigger automatically wake up the iPhone and open to the camera app?
Which one you like better? Snapgrip or progrip? I ordered the snap but it doesn't look secure in this video.

Great review as always Danny and a big thumbs up. But, even though I love this idea and I wanted to buy one the deal breaker for me was that they don't sell the sticky magnetic disk separately. Why a deal breaker you ask? What happens when you want to update you non-mag mobile phone and you've already used the sticky magnetic disk? You are well and truly stuffed and the unit is worthless. Hold up - They at Snap Grip have just emailed me and said that even though they don't offer the sticky magnetic disks on their web site they will sell them separately. So now not a deal breaker and I think that that I'll get one with a couple of extra sticky magnetic disks.
the main thing the grip offers is allowing your hand to have a nice grip without being in the way of the screen, that's the best reason to get this really

So I’m just kind of debating if I wanna keep it because the price it’s kind of like disappointing is kind of pricey to me for how much it is for how much it cost and part of it doesn’t work, which is charging your phone. I mean good thing I have a battery pack on me, but it’s just like, don’t want to keep this expensive product. The only thing wrong with it is it doesn’t wirelessly charged my phone unless the case is not on it and I don’t really want to take my phone out of its case when I need to wire it because I don’t wanna drop my phone. Don’t drop my phone if it doesn’t have accidentally dropped the case on one thing, but it’s just like I don’t know how I feel about that. Yeah that’s my only complaint and I did read that before buying it it says, depending on how thick your case is, it may wirelessly charge it may not, wasn’t it wirelessly charge it tried to see it but it only last like two seconds and then it would stop and then it would do it again and just keep doing that and I was like that is weird, but I don’t know why my particular wireless charge compatible but it’s the only thing that won’t wirelessly charge with the case anything else works. So I return it because of that and just use a battery pack or what cause I do see what you’re saying. It does help you know and stabilized specially if you go to a sporting event or concert or if you don’t know if they’re gonna allow you to bring in a mini tripod and if they don’t allow you to bring one, you at least have another way to stabilize when you’re taking photos and videos. I returned it using the tripod as like a selfie stick and a sense and use that as way to stabilize my pictures and video but if I go to a concert or sporting event, and they don’t let me bring in a mini tripod and I have to hold it myself, if not always lights so that’s why the battery charging on it keep it and use it just use that feature
Have you done any videos comparing the ProGrip with the SnapGrip? I am trying to decide which one is better for me.

So yeah, I wanted to get the kit, but Amazon was out of it at the moment so I got the tripod which I love that. It’s a MagSafe tripod and then I got the snap grip which I love it. It just doesn’t wirelessly charge with my case and I’m like do I still keep it or do I return it to Amazon because like it tries to for a couple seconds it tries to wire charge and then it stops and then it tries to do it again Every couple seconds and I’ve tried it on and it works for some reason it doesn’t wire charged that does wirelessly charge. And my phone needs to charge. I do have a battery pack or do I return it because a lot of money and debating if I should return it or keep it. I do have the tripod which I absolutely love. I’m just disappointed that the snap group doesn’t wirelessly charged with my case on it tries to and does it and then it stops and then it does it again it just doesn’t stay wirelessly charge.
Do they make ND, CP & Mist filters for their system?

Does it overheats when charging the phone?
I have not had that issue, has never overheated and I have the snapgrip on my Iphone 14 pro max all the time.
Theres one thing I didn’t see that is kinda a deal breaker for me. The 18650 that is charging your phone and the shutter is not removable. I’m a fpv drone pilot and I have tons of 18650s because I use them for like everything. Would be nice to have unlimited battery life for this thing because of removable batteries.

I’m hoping you’ll see this Danny, please put out a warning about this company. I was an early kickstarter backer for this project since I already had a shift cam product. They took payment months ago and I still don’t have a product. I’ve been in contact MANY times with the company and from other comments it appears I’m not the only one. They are shipping orders from their website before fulfilling their kickstarter pledges. This is a terrible way for a company to behave. Also they are now telling me the color I ordered months ago is now out of stock and no shipment date or eta will be provided. It’s beyond frustrating that they chose to sell to the general public before their kickstarter backers. So hopefully one day I receive this product and it’s as great as you say but I know I will never buy from this company or recommend this since they have such poor business practices and that needs to be known.

Pretty lame product actually. I have one and it is a pretty unremarkable product, the only control you have is shutter. The charging of your phone isn't that great and can overheat the phone. Also the snapgrip loses it's charge over a short period of time. Does not work well as a stand either, tends to easily fall over like a weeble. Don't waste your money.
