Rachel Lindsay found a way to avoid debt. She went to boutiques and asked them if they would be willing to provide an outfit that she would wear on TV. In return, she gave credit to them on social media, providing a lot of advertising.

As crazy as this sounds, we have to remember that Kaitlyn Bristowe first appeared on the Bachelor on Chris Soules season, which was filmed in 2014. Social media "influencing/advertising" wasn't really that huge at that time. Fast forward 2-3 years when Rachel appeared on the show was when companies really started utilizing other ppls social media platforms as a tool for advertising. Nonetheless, Rachel was really smart to think of that ...idk if I would have haha

alanna rouette Plus they were not allowed to go on social media until the show was done on TV. I remember they had to stay extremely quiet and not show any type of things related to the show.

It’s not risky if you have nothing to lose.
It’s an investment. After that exposure they are able to build careers. Kaitlyn makes a lot of money with her sponsors from her podcast, instagram and her product lines.
