Guys I am 65 and still wear my Jordans, Nikes, and Yeezys and the way I have taken care of myself, and the way I style my outfits regularly gets “he so fresh” when I am out. I need to start a You Tube channel to show what a guy in his sixty’s means to the sneaker community. Guys never let anyone tell you what you can’t do!
Yea my dad is 69 and still wear his. He is one of the original sneaker addicts. Successful in life. Wear what you want. Let no one tell you what to put on.
I’m 43 and I still wear my Jordan’s all of the time. For guys my age who grew up watching Jordan and buying his sneakers (the black/raptor 7’s were my first back in 1992) it’s just nostalgia more than anything.
I’m 47 & only expanding the Jordan collection. Love incorporating my sneakers into my diverse wardrobe & sharing my sense of style with my kids. Style has no age limits!
I'm 39 and will be wearing sneakers pass 40. At my office the CEO is in his 50s and does be rocking Jordans. We wear chinos, with polos, feelcw etc but sneakers is how we express ourselves.
42 year old here. I’ll NEVER stop!! Has my style changed yes, as a kid I dressed from the feet up, as I get older I’m looking for sneakers to compliment my style.✌🏾
I used to dress up for a certain corporate part in my early 20’s. And now I’m almost 40, I dress how I like. Like many people, the older I get, the fewer s**ts and f**ks I give about what other people think, especially of how I look.
Same here. I’m 56, and give ZERO f**ks on what people think!!! 😂 I always match my style with what I’m wearing, and get compliments every now, and again from some younger folks, so I guess I’m doing it right!!! I wear what I like also, NOT what’s trending this week.
I'm 41 and I'll never stop with wearing j's. That's why I watch this chAnnel because of the look books you provide Ed, so I try to up my game clothes wise with my favorite j's.
I’m 31 and a sneakerhead. Rocked Jordan’s all my life until last year got into Nike sb’s. But what really helped was when I learned how to layer with my outfits. Never too old to rock any kind of shoe
Friends, I just turned 50, and I love my retro Jordan’s. Bought my first pair in 1988, and haven’t looked back. Jordan’s are a staple for some of us, and you cannot put an age limit on one’s happiness. For anyone to say your too old to do anything is ridiculous. Live how you want, and don’t let others ruin your day with BS. I have over 50 pairs, including Nike SB Chunky Dunkys, judge yourself, not me. Peace!
I am 45 and my style is always adapting and my example is I got rid of my Travis scott Aj1's multiple colorways because I have outgrown the backwards check even though they look nice. I am just doing 85 cut Aj1's and just OG'S in general. So my answer is never 😅
Awesome video. I'm 43 and didn't get my first pair of Jordans until after I turned 40. Point 4 really hit home for me...I'm not trying to have 30 pair in my collection, just some nice, simple colorways that are wearable. I have the UNC heel lows, the black toe lows and the washed gray highs...nothing flashy, just classic silhouettes.
So you didn’t realize you liked Jordan’s until a couple years ago. I bet you watched minorities wear them all through growing up. But now you like them. Interesting. Influenced much? Lol
I’m 50 and love sneakers & fashion. As long as I feel good in my outfits I’ll continue wearing Jordans. As you stated in your video, dress appropriately
Man, you should be able to wear whatever the hell you want!! If dudes can wear skirts and dresses now.. I’m wearing Jordan’s as long as I want.. in fact, that’s my era! 80’s baby 90s kid.. 😂
I identify as a part time Sneakerhead, so you’re dam right I’m wearing them until I don’t want to anymore, and I don’t see that happening in the near future, and I’m 56!!!
People in their 40s & 50s are the ones that put and kept Jordan’s in demand to the point of them being relevant for us today. They had the real OG colorways
Yep. I had the original black, and red ones in 85, as a senior in high school. I always keep all my sneakers in the original boxes also. I just wish I still had them, because they are worth a small fortune, but I probably wouldn’t sell them anyway, unless someone offered me stupid money, them I would let them go!!!
I’m 41, with muscular dystrophy, I don’t know how much longer I can walk, so better believe I’m going to wear my Jordan’s as long as I can even if I end up in a power chair.
Thanks for the video Eddy! I’ll be wearing J’s till the day that I die. I never let anyone tell me what I can and can’t wear and I don’t care what is trendy. I rock my own style instead of trying to copy everyone else. I’ll be 47 in a few months and have 160 sneakers now. Growing up through the birth of sneaker culture, it’s so fun now to get stuff I had or never had from back in the day.
I’m 42 going on 43 and I’m still wearing Jordans. I got designer canvas shoes and a few dress shoes for when I need to wear them. I’m very selective when buying sneakers nowadays. Still getting compliments on Jordan’s. Rock what you like.. people still wear vans and chucks and they’ve been around forever. J’s are forever too
I’m a 45 year old Cuban American Miami born woman living in SoFlo! I wear Jordans to go out with my outfits including leather jackets and blazers to complete the look for the beach! I don’t think there’s an age limit for Jordans because nowadays these specific shoes are for all ages because it’s all the fashion right now and also we live in sneaker culture every day! So that question is out of the question. Period!
Never too OLD...I'm 47 and rocking the "J's" and Travis Scotts....I have roughly 32 pairs and still going....I see them and like them and buy them for me...I couldn't afford them when I was little so now I can(I have YEEZYS on the way..LOL)...LOL...Then I buy my clothes to go around my Kicks...My wife has nice pairs also and she is 50yrs old...She loves her Power puff SB's and has all the colors...Hey wear what you like!
I just turned 40 and was seriously contemplating buying my first ever Jordan’s. I’m finally old enough to afford them. 😂 looking at Jordan 3, 11, and 12. 🎉
Eddie, you are always on point when it comes to fashion trends and I agree you are never too old to wear J’s. It’s all about how your outfits look with them and how you feel because your confidence will show to others.
I’m 45 and been wearing Nikes and Jordan’s for as long as I remember. I’m a collector of them as well and buy what I want and wear what I want. I have dress shoes, loafers and designer shoes also. I dress depending on my mood, the event or how much drip I wanna bring out that day. Don’t let people put you in a box and tell you how to dress. I think that it definitely depends on the pair. Ones never go out of style and can be worn casually with a sweater or button up. I also stick to the classic and neutral colorways. Nothing too flashy.
I’m 47 and been a sneaker head since the 6th grade. Got best dressed in 8th grade. My son now is 14 and digs my sneaker collection always asking to “wear” a pair here and there. Keep it fresh peeps! 🙏🏼
🇬🇧 50 this year.. wardrobe is diverse .. I am in better shape than guys in their 25’s … if they make you feel good… go for it …. I may wear NB tomorrow though 😂
You're never too old to wear J's and other lifestyle kicks. I do think that there is definitely a time and a place to NOT wear lifestyle kicks and you should wear dressier footwear.
40yo here. Love your vids. Thanks for looking out for us as usual. I do have to say, best tip in the vid for me is getting the right Jordans. My Obsidian 1s get the most wear because they go with most of my wardrobe and I can't see them every going out of fashion. My Union Guava 4s, not so much, but I'm always looking for a reason.
Yo Eddie Love this topic that " after 40 " rule for Jordans is ridiculous that age is when you have money to buy Jordans!!! I'm in my 50s finally got me 2 pairs of 11s Black ,and Blue .and lifelong Yankees fan and I got the blue suede Jeter 11s ! Now would I wear 11s with shorts ...no ! but a pair of Navy Blue 5's with blue camo ...hey for me in my 50s now I can spend the money different priorities now I don't have to buy a composite bat ,lessons for numerous interests that my kids had ,wasn't gonna buy Jordans then but now hey styled right ....anything goes !!
That is the beauty of Jordan’s. There is a silhouette, a style, a colourway for anyone and EVERYONE. Wear what you want, wear what makes you happy. No one can tell you what you should and shouldn’t wear. It’s your money, buy what you want. Life is too short. I’m 44 and I was wearing my 1 low elephant print today 🔥 Love this content Eddie. Big love from the U.K. ❤️ 👊🏻 PS. Yellow is a difficult colour sneaker to pull off. I have the Air Max 1 Tour Yellow and I tend to wear them in a colour block outfit, black jeans and top. Makes the yellow pop 🔥
Great video brother!!! Its all about changing and evolving your style and incorporating your Js or whatever sneakers you like wearing. Im 43 and still wear my Js..
Just turned 40 myself. 250 pairs of sneakers, around 150 Jordans. My logic: Jordan 11 Concords have 45 on the back. I’ll reconsider where I’m at in 5 years time.
I'm 47 and I mostly wear Js on the weekend when I'm out just running around. It's something about them when I see anyone wearing I just take a second look at them. I will definitely match them up with something and not just be out there looking off. I'm just select with my colors for the most part.
I’m 44 and still love them. I remember when they all first released. Like the 11’s I can remember exactly where I was the first time I seen those patient leather beauties. I was in love sophomore year. But you do have to keep a classy too. Like some black cement 4’s. A nice polo. And a black and red fitted. But each pair brings up some nostalgia for me. Like most people that are in to the sneaker seen. I say rock what you like.
Let it be know. Every lifestyle from person to person is different. If your life is not in an office or church all day or there is no particular dress you have to follow. Rock them Joints. I am a man of a certain age and I just hit on The Bred 4’s a month ago on SNKRS. ❤ love the channel keep it going!!
I’m 49 and I thought that I was getting too old to wear any kind of sneakers. But reading the comments has reassured me in my choice to continue buying and rocking the shoes I like the most.
I’m 41, and I just bought my first pair of Nike Dunks. Now, I’m wondering whether I made the right choice. I won’t be wearing them everywhere-just to shopping malls and while traveling to other countries. The color-block pattern definitely gives off youthful vibes, so keep it subtle. Go for neutral colors rather than blue or red if you’re over 40.😊😊
Personal opinion - the fashion choices you make with the shoes makes or breaks them. I love this channel for the mature styling - hard to dress like a 6 year old and be taken seriously.
I couldn't agree with you more my brother!! I'm 38 and my only rule is if I feel good wearing my Jordans and it goes with my fit, I'm good to go. By the way, those brown timberland boots are soon gonna be added to my collection lol thanks bro didn't know they existed. I fuck with this channel, we have similar styles and you have good takes. Good shit my friend! My man said "who hurt you" 😂
I'm 43. Will wear J's till I die. Same goes for vans & sb's & trainers ect. Do what u like & feels good no matter what other people may say or project onto u. I'm a father of a younger child & out of the parents in her circle I dress young compared to them. And that's fine as long as I'm good with it which I am. Im not about to start wearing old man clothes & shoes cuz that what im supposed to or I have to look a certain way cuz im a parent. That's bs. Wear what u like. Esp if u put your fits 2gether right. Others r just jealous u hit it on the head...who hurt u? Lol. Love this channel & the content. The dudes in my area could learn a thing or 2 from watching u
I specifically mostly stick to 1's, dunks & shoes that won't crumble over time so I can still rock em in my 90's. Being fresh has no age limit, unless you put that limitation on yourself.
Im 57 and like year and half ago I started to get into it now I got like 30 pairs 🙈 but I love them. I changed my style and I enyoy it which is the best part. Young guys complement me on my shoes and that feels good. Like someone said on the comments that at this age you have the chance to actually buy whatever you like without braking the bank. Thank u Eddie for the interesting video.
Absolutely right.i spent my 30's and 40's lookin professiional and GQ. Now in my 50's comfort is where it's at jeans n tees all of it age appropriate of course..found new love with the J's
You hit everything Brookings, I'm 43 and have a decent variety of sneakers and shoes, I got swag and I'm a fly hispanic male. I choose my moments to rock everything and never lookin crazy or like I'm trying to hard. Just keep it simple and flavorful, since grand puba popularized girboud jeans and hilfiger. You only get one life, enjoy it. What you eat don't make me shit. ✌️
I am 63. I wear my OG Jordans and Kobes and could care less what others think. I however have many pairs of No Bulls for the gym. I am into retros as I just bought the Converse Weapon (Bird) black high tops. And now PONY is making a come back.
As a 45-year-old, I still wear Jordans, but I noticed that I only buy the more subtle, minimalist ones now. If they're mostly white or all black I'll get them, but I'll pass if they are too busy or loud.
Yooo 😳 I'm a big Michael jordan fan since 87 and when I was living with my mom it's was hard for me to get thems, so God bless her soul 🙏 😢 so now I try to get every pairs that come out and when I do get thems I thank God for watching 👀 over her for me to continue on allowing me to get thems, and I don't care about what people say🤔 and I'm 54 🤷🏻♂️
@@Locdwithwill “grown man” streetwear style is what I personally call it, here’s a video I did on it - th-cam.com/video/NU-Hf6WRBdg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZmBVJWrZ3hSBjvok
I’m 51 and have well over 200 pairs in my collection. Wear what you like and I could care less about what anyone else tells me is cool. I grew up watching Jordan play and have memories of all his shoes he actually wore. Some of those I had at the time. Love my J’s
I'm turning 54 and restarted my affinity for Jordan's through bonding with my teenage daughter. I stick with 1s-4s OG color waves (breds, black toes & Chicago's) from the days of my youth with a few Palomino, UNC Mocha's, etc in between...I work from home, so my 50+ suits and Gucci loafers get little to no game time unless I'm going to an event. It's all about comfortability & from here on end It's vintage Sergio Tacchini, Fila, and Polo tracksuits for this Ole Head. Ef what you think...
also depends on HOW you wear them not just on what model. i wear Air penny2s the atlantic colourway but i wear them "properly" nice and securely all the way up with bunny ear bow. im 35 and will be wearing sneakers at every age.
I think when folks think of people wearing sneakers or Jordan’s they think that means said person’s fashion is underwhelming or childish. Speaking for myself it’s very possible to wear fashionable things with Jordan’s.
I'm 32 and I wouldn't wear Jordans again. I tried with the reimagined 3s last year but I can't do it. When I'm walking around town and there are a bunch of teenagers wearing the same shoe you do start to think fuck am I too old for these now. But I wouldn't begrudge anyone older than me wearing them. Wear what you want. I'm a NB Solomon ASICS man anyways.
I'm 44. I still rock sneakers, & not stopping anytime soon. I do what I want. EDIT: MUCH respect for the selection of background music. This is how we chill...

PS. Yellow is a difficult colour sneaker to pull off. I have the Air Max 1 Tour Yellow and I tend to wear them in a colour block outfit, black jeans and top. Makes the yellow pop 🔥
Bruh im 37 n when i am 80 i will still be rockin jordans if they our around
Great video brother!!!
Its all about changing and evolving your style and incorporating your Js or whatever sneakers you like wearing. Im 43 and still wear my Js..
I’ll be wearing Jordan’s until my feet and body tell me otherwise
Just turned 40 myself.
250 pairs of sneakers, around 150
Jordans.
55 and proudly wear my J’s! Great Content!
I’m 49 still rocking Jordans. Don’t care. It’s how you wear them and what you wear them with. 💪🏽
Why do you care so much about what other people think? Is that how you got into Jordan’s in the first place?

Eddie always dropping knowledge and breaking down the science of fashion!!!! Love this vid. Let’s go 40+ 🎉
till i'm dead love your style and content brother keep up the amazing work
I wear retro 6s as I had the originals back in the 90s, so I'm 43, but I only wear them for the gym to give me a bit of nostalgia 👍
That jacket you got on in this video is 🔥 👌🏾
I’m 41, and I just bought my first pair of Nike Dunks. Now, I’m wondering whether I made the right choice. I won’t be wearing them everywhere-just to shopping malls and while traveling to other countries. The color-block pattern definitely gives off youthful vibes, so keep it subtle. Go for neutral colors rather than blue or red if you’re over 40.😊😊
I bought my first pair of J’s two months before I turned 40. I now own 13 pairs.
That “look book” tip is the key. You help some non dressing people.
Totally agree. Styling your outfit with Js is more important than wearing Jordans themselves
Im 47 Bought the Olive 4s Palimino 3s an bext Olive 5. All within a year. I feel great
Same. Well, 41 but same shoes.
47...great family...successful career...*looks down*...wearing Jordans
Hahah love that, you already won
If yall don't think age matters with jordans, then yall shouldn't have a problem wearing those light up shoes children wear.
I'm getting close to 40 and do not plan to stop
What is this style called boss , wanting to switch over from the jeans and graphic tshirts to this
@@Locdwithwill “grown man” streetwear style is what I personally call it, here’s a video I did on it - th-cam.com/video/NU-Hf6WRBdg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZmBVJWrZ3hSBjvok
I’m 51 and have well over 200 pairs in my collection. Wear what you like and I could care less about what anyone else tells me is cool. I grew up watching Jordan play and have memories of all his shoes he actually wore. Some of those I had at the time. Love my J’s
What is that overcoat you are wearing?! 0:05
Hi, where did you get the top coat?
I got my first pair at 40! And I’m loving it!
I got the whole family a pair!
The Jordan’s I personal rock are the Air Jordan 1’s. Classic yet fashionable and be mixed in with formal wear if done right.
If you grew up wearing Jordan’s, dunks or any other sneakers and you still comfortable in them, wear them. Same goes with tracksuits.
also depends on HOW you wear them not just on what model. i wear Air penny2s the atlantic colourway but i wear them "properly" nice and securely all the way up with bunny ear bow. im 35 and will be wearing sneakers at every age.
Listening to Souls Of Mischief in the background 🔥
I'm 44 and love wearing Airmax 1, 90, 95, 97 and Jordans.
I'm 44. I still rock sneakers, & not stopping anytime soon. I do what I want.
EDIT: MUCH respect for the selection of background music. This is how we chill...
47 baby..its all about ur drip..swag..ur fly...when you have style there isn't a question of age
