I would say you have a pretty nice system going for yourself. Just don't deprive yourself too much if you want to buy something. You live once so live your best life.
I just love watching your videos, they are so inspiring :) I am new to the minimalist movement, and I am feeling so free, and I notice I typically wear the same things and switch them up every week, I am 46 years old, and I have been doing this all my life. I am also loving the savings that is happening and I love that my daughter is watching what I do so that she will be this way when she gets older. Please keep making videos :)
Aww thank you so much ❤️ I have a daughter too and I love that she’s learning things can’t make you happy and how to save for the future. Minimalism has changed so much for me and I’m always so grateful for this community to share it with ❤️❤️
Excellent video! I do a lot of what you do and it works for me too👍 I don’t keep things that I don't need stored away in furniture or closets. I get rid rather than store. I think it's better to declutter than to buy furniture to store. During the past 3 yrs. I decluttered all areas and donated everything including a hutch and dresser😊 Smart getting your sweet daughter to create cards❤ I've never wanted to buy a diffuser and won't 😊 Rosie 👩🦳 74 🇨🇦
1. Besides not having the cost of buying paper towels and paper napkins, you also are not adding to the trash in the landfill. 2. Wearing heels and pointed toe shoes will destroy your feet. You can be fashionable and still comfortable with thousands of other choices. 3. When you cannot find a book at the library that you want, you can ask to do an inter-library loan. This is when your library requests that book from an entirely different library system, either in another county or state. The only rule is the book must have been published 12 months ago or longer.
Congratulations on over 5K subscribers! 🥳 I don't want to know how many thousands I've spent on essential oils and diffusers that I rarely diffuse. I feel awful about how certain trees have become endangered due in part to that industry too. I haven't bought anything new in years and don't intend to buy more either. I've given away plenty and I'll try to give away more soon. They do oxidize and go off eventually so it's about time that I use them or lose them!
Thanks you so much 😍 yes, I am right there with you! I had good intentions buying the oils but now I never use them and they just stare at me and make me feel bad 🤦🏼♀️
@@minimalease, you can put a few drops of them in the water or vinegar when you wash the floor or clean something in your house. You can also use them on Christmas decorations and ornaments if they are seasonal.
I don’t like defuser! They actually made me feel sick 🤧 if I used it … I also have a couple of purses… I also only have one set of dishes. I also had way too many pillows for the bed and couch… great ideas!! 💡 thanks 🙏 again for the suggestions ❤🥰
Wonderful video :) 100% with you on so SO many of these! Especially the birthday cards lol. Instantly subscribed and I'm looking forward to your future videos :)
@@minimalease I am actually :) Still very new but loving it :) Aw thank you for that - it's wonderful connecting with other Minimalists here on TH-cam. It seems like a wonderful little community :)
Omg....cardboard boxes, tubes, aluminum foil...throw in some markers, glue, construction paper...kept my kids busy all day long..at the end we just recycle😄
Here is a link for a very similar one from the same brand. amzn.to/3s0a4jO I have had it for over a year and I am so impressed with how well it has held up! 😍
Tbh I think it's kind of a dick move to go to a book store (or any store for that matter) to browse what you like with the Intention to get it somewhere else anyway (be it borrowed or thrifted or whatever). No hate, maybe I'm pedantic. I found this video very infornative otherwise.
To each their own what works for me won’t work for everyone. I don’t feel guilty about using Barnes and noble getting a hot chocolate here and there or a children’s book but browsing around adult books without buying
@@minimalease Fair enough, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I usually buy my books at a small Local Shop that's been Here for Like 75 years and when you mentioned it I thought "If I was the owner of that Shop and I knew about people doing that, I would be mad", that's all. I wouldn't lose sleep over these big companies making a little less money though, so I agree.
Awesome video!
I’d like to see a video about how you keep it simple for the holidays. 😉
Loving seeing your channel grow.
Aww thanks friend ❤️ great idea👍 I’ll work on a video about that soon!

I agree, thank you for sharing ❤️
This is her best life - with no buying and buying.... Less is more. Now, when I'm minimalist I have money, because I don't need to spend a lot
