The elastic in the Mexican style wraps will help stop the wraps getting loose or coming off. Depends on HOW elastic they are, I guess. They should have a little stretch in them, but not too much. What brand are they?
No. The short wraps don't really offer much protection at all. That's why I generally recommend the longer 180 inch handwraps. I only did this video because a lot of people I know have the short wraps and want to know how best to use them.
headkick67 agreed 💯 we tell everyone to purchase Mexican hand wraps 180” and over. Unfortunately beginners don’t know the difference and always end up buying the shorter hand wraps so we put up this video just for them. I personally tell me to throw them away or better yet donate them to a child cause that’s the only thing they are good for. lol
For my money, the best handwraps on the market are made by "Century". They're at least 180" and last for ever. You'll pay for quality no matter what you get in this game. Expect to pay around $10 for "Centrury" wraps.
