  • Why I’d NEVER Take a Synthetic Multivitamin as an ND 👩‍⚕️ #shorts
Dr. Janine explains why she would NEVER take a synthetic multivitamin as a Naturopathic Doctor. She explains that conventional multivitamins are made with synthetic vitamins, not whole-food vitamins. She talks about how they include vitamin combinations that fight for absorption. Lastly, Dr. Janine looks at how conventional multivitamins contain filler and flow agents, like Magnesium Stearate.

I was using seven seas bc they have everything in them but then I heard about vitamin E being a synthetic version of it and cancer causing and messing up hormones so I look for vitamins which says natural source of vitamin E if they have vitamin E in them. I took starpowa hair, skin and nails and I really liked those. They also have aloe Vera in them. But they are expensive. I might try those again. I'm currently just juicing veggies most days like celery, cucumber and ginger and I eat seeds which keep my cycles regular. I also use to take B vitamins which contain all B vitamins (from Holland and Barrett) which really help if u dont eat tons of carbs where b vitamins come from. Just check what's in all the vitamins and find out what your body needs by looking for any symptoms u might have. Choose vitamins that suit your age too.

Eat vegetables and fruits is one acceptable source of vitamin, why do you need vitamins? There is many things you can supplement, minerals, plants with alkaloids, collagen for your skin whatever but vitamins are usually enough in our body and some have a risk to cause certain disease like cancer.
Supplementing with B vitamins - especially vitamin B6, folic acid, and vitamin B12 - has been linked with an increased risk of lung cancer. In a 2019 case-control study involving 5,183 lung cancer cases and 5,183 controls, those with higher B12 blood levels had a 15% higher risk of having lung cancer.

Sango corals (Zinc/Magnesium/Calcium), Guava (Iron), Algea (E, and minerals), Curry Leaf (Iron), Acerola(C), Buckwheat(B), animal organs, there is a lot stuff and brands you will find one in Google yourself for your region. Unless you have anorexia nervosa you don't need a multivitamin supplement with like everything.

Your body has homeostatic mechanisms in order to prevent deficiency and toxicity. If you increase the dose of a certain nutrient by adding it as a vitamin supplement then it's possible that our body down regulates absorption to prevent toxicity. That's exactly the same thing as what would happen if you increased that same nutrient through your diet instead of a supplement.
There's no difference, the vitamins in supplements have the same chemical structure as "natural" vitamins the only difference is where they come from.
There are vitamin supplements with a different chemical structure however these can either be converted in our body to the same type or interact in the same way as their "natural", counterpart making them practically the same.
    Also naturopaths aren't doctors

💥 Saying that a synthetic multivitamin is just as good as those from a natural source is like saying that silicone boobs are just as good as natural ones. Please…. Use your minds and your hands

by the way this generation of people want everything fast ,also synthetic is not bad for short term
Also Any mineral vitamin C or vitamin micronutrient in any form is bad for long-term because body stops making it if you rely on it

Doctor Janine has a short video explaining about 3 fillers that we need to avoid. One of them is megnesium stearate. Which is bad for your heart. If you get a chance check that short vid. In her channel.

She will think the same on vegetable stearic acid I guess. Her opinion is probably based on a study on stearic acid, but she does not take into consideration how little the amount of stearic acid is in magnesium sterate and capsules/ pills and that there is much higher concentration in chicken, beef, coconuts (vegetable)...If you want to follow her, you should also not take the vegetable one.

These philosophies are very strange to me. Has anyone selling any of these products seen how they make the product? They are all extremely processed. Typically using a massive amount of solvents.
But what do I know as a chemical process operations specialist in pharmaceuticals? I’m sure the internet and this random lady in a white coat know best.

Is a naturopathic doctor even a real thing? Sounds sketchy, like a chiropractor or the people who do that lasik eye surgery. Hmm...
