That pink rug was awesome. I can't wait to go get supplies to do it. I can't believe how easy you made it look. Thank you for making this video this is exactly what I was looking for.
Just what I needed! I recently bought an authentic 1940s curtain with pink flowers and green leaves on a gray background. I wanted a matching rug, but finding one to match an 80 year old curtain would be impossible. Now I can make my own to match! Thank you!
This is SO COOL! Thank you so much!! Now I know why these rugs are so expensive but what I didn't know was they were basically made of yarn. So cool. Thank you thank you thank you I cannot wait to make some.!!
Me and my friend are recently starting a business and I looked up easy DIYs on how to make a rug and your video was exactly what I needed just to make simple rugs that people can have in their homes along with me I cannot wait to try this thank you so much
Ooooooooo just watched the 2 rug ...... WOW ...... I thought the spray glue would wash out.... but it’s been awhile since I’ve used some ..... I’m trying this one this weekend!!!!
Thanks for this great idea. I will be moving into a rental flat and the carpet is awful so I need a cheap way to cover it until they can change it and i'm so not buying extra large rugs for £100's of pounds so i'm going to give your second option a go and once dry gonna stick it down using carpet tape so it stays in place as it's gonna be really large. Not other videos like this so i'm really grateful to see how this has come out without having to sew anything.
This gave me an awesome idea for the interior of my future campervan project. Instead of pink I might use a mix or orange, yellow & white to make it look more like a classic 1970s shag carpet
Great job, thank you!! I really love the colour you used! I would like a rug in that exact colour so if I can find the backing for it, I will definitely give this a go 💖
I love the first rug. Im going to turn my spare room into my craft room and wanted to learn how to make a rug for it and also make a rug for my living room. It looks so easy to do. Im gonna make it as soon as i get the colors i want. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
I love your how to videos! Im trying to learn how to make rugs and other things for my baby's nursery (first one soooo excited XD) your instructions are so clear!!
Love using the fabric idea. I bought a piece of fabric that is short black fur. I was thinking of a pillow cover, but after a saw the fur fly everywhere as he store attendant cut my piece, I have not been to keen on getting the project out of the bag. It seems like spraying the glue on the wrong side like you did might keep the fur from fuzzing off long enough to make a rug like you did, or a pillow cover or whatever. I can’t wait to try it.
Omg yes thanks I saw a tiktok of just little bits of making a cool rug and this is the way that did it I couldnt find any tutorial on doing it this way everything else was hole punching or tufting I'm going to be able to make a nice one now thanks so much even though I'm late to the party
Thank you so much cause it’s like I’m litteraly just sitting at home all bored and I’m like hmmm what do I make out of yarn of a rug! Then I come across this and I’m like wow that pink rug seeps so easy cause your just tying knots when in most rugs you have to thread the string through each individual hole so thankyou ima try to do this
I never comment on anything, but I just had to express how helpful this video is,,, I've been looking for new hobbies and crafting looks like it's going to be my go to, so I'm bout to go make a carpet and I tag u in my video thanks hun,,💜
I think this is so cool! I have watched other videos, where they make the pom pom rugs, but I actually like yours even better. I am definitely going to try making one of these.. thanks for sharing! ☺
Wow they look amazing! If you dont mind me asking, how many balls of yarn did you use for the first one? Im really looking forward to trying them out 😊
How does it feel when walking on it. I absolutely adore your tutorial on these rugs. I am concerned about the knots hurting under foot as my feet are sensitive due to arthritis. Can anyone please let me know? TIA 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 new subscriber as well
I want to make one of these for my dorm room. Do the rug mats come bigger than that? Also, can I get written instructions on how to make the first rug?
Great share! So pretty... I also liked how it looked still looped before you cut it it .... thought; I might try pinning down a large heart shaped template and only shagging either the heart shape or vice versa shagging out the frame of the heart..... or maybe like 3 medium sized hearts ...., love the colors you chose
+Dayana Alvarado hey I answered that a while back in the comments let me look through them and I’ll put it in the description... thanks so much for watching

I’ve only washed it once but it held up
@@JenniAndDanny if you mix super glue and baking soda it makes it a bondo. Drys very quick. A lot stronger

If the rug is plush u won’t feel the knots at all. I made my very very plush and thick.
Great project! How many skeins and what are the dimensions? Sorry if that’s already answered in the video or comments.
If it’s not in the description box I can’t remember! However I’m currently recreating them and will have a new video up soon with lots more details
Omg this looks super easy😍
it really is! thanks for watching
THANK YOU so much. I can now confidently make a customized rug without the expensive price tag.
You are so welcome!
From where can I get these types of rugs.
To DIY? I got my stuff from joanns
Very nice video. May I ask what is the name of the background music
After the adhesive , can we wash it in the washing machine?
Not sure… I spot cleaned the white rug
I have seen that first method on but not as easy as melted butter smooth like yours 🌟🌟🌟🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Hey
Where did you get the canvas please??
What type of fabric did you use for your white rug?
I’m not sure I just found a white fabric that was soft. I will say it has a slight curl to the fur not straight like most fur.
How can I clean the pink one?
New to this ❤️
I washed it on delicate in the wash with nothing else
Excellent 👍🏼
Thank you so much for watching
Can’t wait to try this! Thank you for making this video!

Thanks so much! I believe I used 9 -10but my rug is very plush . There is no real need for that much.
Probably silly question but can you hoover it was thinking of making a big one for my sons room as they are so expensive. Thank you love the video
