Nice photography because the food looks mouth watering delicious. Sukiyaki is one of my favorite foods that I love to eat when I visit Japan. The high end places are much more expensive than the family type Japanese restaurants in my area of the US but they just use relatively inexpensive American beef and not Wagyu. IIRC, my last trip I went to Nabezo in Shinjuku and had a much less expensive sukiyaki with a combination of pork and beef. Of course, pork is much less expensive than Wagyu. I still can't get around to dipping the beef in raw egg 😢 The staff would probably be amused if they saw me pour the raw egg into the boiling sukiyaki broth and let it poach.
I dunno if you just don’t like the idea of eating raw eggs, but just know that Japan goes out of its way to provide and use very fresh and clean eggs, so there’s never any worries about getting salmonella or anything. It’s honestly absolutely delicious, so if you’re even remotely curious, I can’t recommend it enough!
You manage to find absolutely amazing places. I wish I had known about them when we visited Tokyo several years ago.
Thank you for watching!
