Here I introduce a simple but well-functioning solution for a Porta Dolly. Parts of an aluminum hand truck from the discounter and wheels of another boat trailer were used. The spring is a tension rubber with hooks. The attachment for the lower bead of the Porta Bote is made of roof battens. The upper bead encloses a cut PE tube riveted to the side support. Due to the tension, the support sits very firmly on the boat and also holds on uneven ground.

Thanks forum sharing! I copied your design. At the first attampt I first ribbited the aluminium pole to the corner bracket and then screwed the bracket to the wood. The bracket bent at the first test. Now I screwed the bracket first to the wood with a bolt and nut completely through the wood and than ribbited the aluminium. Hope this holds. I will test as soon as the temperature is right...

What is the metal portion? I wonder where to get that part....

The metal parts come from an extendable aluminum hand truck, as described in the text. For example:

Where did you get the wheels?

My wheels are from a boat trailer I bought at a local discounter. At Amazon, there are similar to buy. Here is the link: www.amazon.de/Sharplace-Kanuwagen-Kajakwagen-Bootswagen-Ersatzrad/dp/B074P2F9SP/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1533738311&sr=8-10&keywords=r%C3%A4der+f%C3%BCr+Bootswagen

I used the wheels of a wheelbarrow.

@@louisveldhuizen1802 I lift the boat over my head & as I'm carrying it to the lake I do military presses with it.

How would you make one and sell it to me?

The Dolly presented in the video is a one-of-a-kind piece that I built for myself. I do not build for sale.

I don't have those wheels anymore. But such or similar can be found on the Internet.
