They look nice, just ordered mine. They finally had a single set in stock... I’m glad you are the 3-4th TH-cam guy saying you don’t need new cables. I have a regular scout. We are similar heights. I really like what you did with the mirrors-first time seeing that setup-looks really good! Thanks, man!
Thx bro. Yeah, you'll have enough cable to accommodate the mini apes. You can order the mirror brackets off amazon. Your dealership might have them as well.
Looks good- I have them on my 60, metallic black- it’s honestly all the bike I need, throw on some nice pipes, air flow and tune and it’s reg scout, heck final 5th gear ratio is the same too Love these bikes, more manageable than a little larger chief, but also very sharp bikes- I’m not touring- just riding around my town and the countryside- perfect bike
Glad I found this, curious if you still like the minis? I havent been on a bike in 40 years, was thinking about a Suoer Chief or Heritage...but, I love this Bike and I think it would be a much better bike for me after all this time. Heck, might be my first and last. Thanks, sorry to comment on a year old vid, but it helps the algorithm anyway. No response necessary, I realize this is old. LOVE your bike!!
Nice looking bike! Just purchased the Apes for mine, got it down from the boys in Knoxville. I am from TN too! If you ever head up to JC, holler and we will ride!
They are Mr. Lucky mirrors. You can find them on Amazon. I do love how they look on the bike. However, you do lose visibility compared to the factory mirrors. I recently replaced them with my factory mirrors (separate brackets). These brackets allow me to mount the mirrors underneath giving the bike a "bar end mirror" look. Better visibility and it looks pretty good. I'll have a video uploaded in the next few days showing these brackets and how the stock mirrors look in their new position. BTW, totally agree. They look like Mickey mouse ears when mounted on top. If you decide to go with the Mr. Lucky mirrors be aware they only come one to a box. They don't come as a pair.
The quintessential bobber is this: low, lean and mean with tall bars. The Indian Scout Bobber and Bobber Sixty are that, except they aren't so lean. They're kinda thicc bois.
This is the Scout sixty. I didn't need new cables for this one. I believe you would need a new clutch cable for the Bobber 60. I would assume you'd need a new brake line but not 100% on that.
@@NoogaCowboy Can you please put a link to those ape bars? I’m still trying to decide if I should get chrome or black ones. I have the same bike as you including color. Only difference is my exhaust I kept chrome and my mirrors are the stock chrome ones.
@@NoogaCowboy Thanks for the reply! I found your later video and ordered some mounts for the stock mirrors. they look awesome cant wait to get everything installed. Thanks for doing these reviews really helped me out in deciding what to do about the bars.

Thanks for the comment. I do love my mini apes. They look better than stock and offer a more comfortable ride. Hope this helps. 🤠🇺🇸🤙

Yes sir!! I'll do it brother. Ride safe.
In kingsport here. Had my scout bobber for about a month now and I’m loving it. I’ve been debating on getting the mini apes
I cant stand the factory mirrors on my Scout sixty. I have mini apes on mine as well. What mirrors are you using and are you happy with them? Thanks!

My next buy Mini Ape Bars, nice bike~!
How wide are they, tip to tip?
Hey brotha! What mirrors are those exactly? Just got the handle bars and love the look of those
The brand is Mr. Luckys. You can find them on Amazon. FYI, When I purchased these mirrors they didn't come as a pair. Each package only had 1 mirror.

True. Indian bikes are big boned. Haha.
Bro, some of us aren't over 5'9" and have t-rex arms so we need the apes brought toward us lol..that's why people do that
Is that the bobber? I’m trying to figure out if I will need to do the cable kit for the scout sixty bobber

Are those the 10in Indian ape hangers??
Yes, 10 inch Indian minis.

What mirrors are those?
I have replaced those with the matte black Indian mirrors. It was hard to see anything with them to be honest. I think the name was Mr. Luckys.
