Welcome to another Episode of Ross Reviews AU on this weeks Video we are in Melbourne with VF JET! This Inane 1200+HP Turbo VF Holden Redline. This does a 9 Second pass and has been shown doing 0-100kph in 2 seconds flat! without a doubt one of the wildest cars i've ever shown off!

Great review of the Redline, Ross. Impressive power being around 1300hp. You can tell the owner has put a lot of work into it. Having the 2 speed Powerglide would have made it very different to drive. You’re getting some great reviews from Melbourne once again. Can’t wait to see the rest.
As someone who has a preference for Aussie V8s it is awesome to see that they are capable of serious power. People often downplay these cars,supras,XR6 turbos,skylines,Subaru WRX are not the only ones capable of big dyno numbers.Then again I like all of those cars to.

I remember a dyno comp 7yrs ago, between different car clubs in NSW.
EVO 3rd, GTR R35 2nd, VF GTS 1st, had, a lot spent for back then, $18k, and could track all day everyday...
What a crazy beast! Unlike most cars with this HP, you can actually kinda drive it normally... I could hear Ross making more noises than the turbocharger itself ;)

Mate this VF is on steroids haha,you have to be careful with your right foot in that beast or you'll be around a bloody tree in no time the power that thing is making is just insane & the owner deserves praise for all the hard work,time & money that's gone into producing such a magnificent car,well done Johnny I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

I think maybe the most practical solution is a supercharger instead of a turbo for many reasons, but they both do the same thing, but has different dynamics.

It would be a mid 11 sec car on CarWow. I’m sure the owner can afford a $225 dragy - but most Aussie car owners are allergic to them. Big difference on prepped strip verse runway/road surface.

Probably 120km if its on E my VY SS uses 24L per 100kms of U98 so I feel you.

Shame that its probably terrible to drive around everyday and fuel economy just as bad. Those drag numbers are awesome nonetheless

what a build but ive got to say 1200 odd horsepower and by far the worst Chinese tyres ever made on the front ,Zeta tyres are just the worst
Yep tyres made a huge difference.
The front tires in this type of car are pretty pointless tho😂 just need the back ones to be good (not for the turns)
@@RossReviewsau i hear you loud and clear Ross and in no way am i trying to undermine your review of this car BUT and heres the but ,why spend so much money on a car to have by far the worst tyres money could buy ,i know that amount of horsepower your probably steering with torque but man when its wet look out ,i dont mind when the rear lets go but i dont like understeer ,once again love this channel your getting australias finest street cars thats for sure
