This is a great video for women as well. I discovered modal fabric through underwear, and now I have modal everything! Tops, pants, PJs, dresses, you name it, I have it ❤
I like the format because you are cutting straight to the meat of the topic. I've never heard of modal so I guess I'll have to check them out. you got a brand you buy?
Most modal is just awesome material to wear. Not just for undies, btw. I happen to be wearing a modal loungewear set with a cardigan, T-shirt, and pants. It’s just the best fabric on the planet. They make everything with it now.
The best ones I’ve ever owned are nylon/ elastane based - the Jockey 24/7 Air Microfibre Trunks. They’e so comfortable, extremely smooth and a beautiful soft fabric against the skin. They are literally a second skin, and breath and wash really well. They are extremely quick to wash and dry - straight into the washing machine and they dry in no time ready for use again. I have a dozen pairs, a really good investment. Don’t be be put off them being synthetic…… excellent for daily use and even to bed if you wish, just so soft!
I had bad experience with Jockey underwear (lone time ago). I got bacon collar after a couple use. Will definitely keep an eye for this Jockey underwear. I bet it's also budget friendly?
@@iamdarryl They’re not bad price wise, if you’re in the USA, you can get them on their website….. They are very slick though, smooth nylon, so depends if you like that. I bought a load as I thought they were incredibly soft against my skin, even wearing to bed. In fact I’m wearing a pair now.
Modal is better. I remember first being introduced to it when I bought a pair of Kenneth Cole pants. The movement of the fabric was outstanding. Now I see why it’s so rare and expensive. Cotton is just mass produced and it’s cheap but depending on the color it fades. And I don’t like fading. I like my clothes to last forever. It moves with you
I have Tourette's Syndrome and I wanna say that Cotton is the worst ever and makes me mad because it rips so easy once it is pulled on, I developed an issue ripping my clothes and underwear because of my condition
Sorry to hear about your condition bro. Try synthetic materials (like polyster). They are harder to rip off (well, depends on the manufacturer). Best of luck man
In my opinion cotton is depends on which company is making. I have 2 cotton underwear one from jockey worth rupees 250 and one from Lux Cozi worth rupees 110. Jockey one is very stretchable and better than Lux Cozi one
Hello and thank you for your video. Is the Calvin Klein modal fabric in your video boxer briefs or trunks? I’m trying to look for them on their website.
You're welcome. The one in the video is a boxer brief. Keep in mind, the higher the modal percentage, the softer it is. I bought a CK boxer brief with only 85% modal, and it's not the same as 95% in terms of softness.
Hello brother, can you recommend me underwear I really tired of wearing underwear because everytime it rides up and sometime it cause very bad rashes even I can't walk now I m wearing cotton and have same issue with this so what I do kindly share your opinion 😊
Hey bro, have you tried Modal fabric? Give it a shot. They are more expensive, but pretty worth. As for the brand, I only buy Calvin Klein underwear lol. Hope this helps.
Great question. I happened to search my drawer and found a micro-modal from Ted Baker London brand. I noticed that it is softer compared to regular modal. However, it's too soft that can easily ride up to your legs. Maybe just the brand, but I love the softness though. From my research, micro modal supposed to have a finer fabric which makes it more softer and comfortable to wear.
I actually own 3 of those and funny thing is that Im wearing one right. It's a great "home" or running errand boxer briefs. It does easily rides up though. It's breathable though
I have been wearing cotton underwear to do functional exercises in gym. But after a month I had so much chafing and pain down there that I had to stop. I wore cotton jockey trunks throughout, and it seems they have become hard after a month of regular use (machine washed). Now if anything comes in contact down there it hurts. Do you think Modal or microfibre would have prevented this issue ? Where I live it’s really hot and moisture in atmosphere is too high so sweating is there too. I know I can’t continue wearing cotton as my skin is almost tearing now down there, but I hope modal or microfibre won’t cause this issue …
I've been using microfiber/modal when working out. So to simply answer your question, yes, microfiber and modal are the answer. I tried my best to wear cotton boxers during heavy workout.
@@Conk-bepis To be honest, I only wear Calvin Klein stuff. You could get them for cheap at outlet store (at least the microfiber). Modal will rarely go on sale
HELLO Sir i am a heavy sweater even if i sit down for some half- 1 hour my buttocks get wet due to sweat...Can the micromodal prevent this problem or atleast give me more time before my pants get wet? Pkease Reply.. in anticipation of your response
Boxers suck and so do briefs. I used to wear trunks but the short length causes chaffing when I do any sweating especially in summer and that sucks so im going with boxer briefs that are 5" inseam. Anything Cotton sucks!! I sweat a lot so anything that handles my sweat gets my money.
@@iamdarryl I've had CK microfiber trunks for the last 7 years! I purchased a months worth back then. They all seem to be worn out and are no longer moisture wicking as effectively as they did back then. I'm going with modal and other synthetic blends of Lycra and elastane.
I heard that underwear's inner part, which contacts with penis is best with cotton Is modal also ok for that part? I mean is it healthy enough compared to cotten
he said microfiber is cheaper than cotton i'm like huh? then whats up with all these brands selling microfiber double or triple the price than cotton??? then i went with bamboo lmfao
You're not wrong about this. But this is all depends on the manufacturer and/or what type of fiber (micro fiber) they used. Like organic cotton is more expensive than microfiber. Bamboo is the one i am eyeing for now, since I hear a good buzz about it. Let me know how the bamboo fabric feels like
@@iamdarryl organic cotton made sense those stuff is expensive but i dont see them made as underwear or shops just didnt bother to import/list them over here lol i've bought a bamboo viscose from Playboy it felt just like your description of 'Modal' soft and elastic like its not there lol also very cool design too, have to say that PLBY caught my eye then just awhile ago i placed an order for Hush Puppies Bamboo without the viscose to see whats the difference. Hello there kind stranger. I would definitely go with Microfiber or modal (avoid 100% cotton). Reason why is that they absorb sweat faster.
