Dear Jon! I really like your videos, they are informative and understandable. I just bought the Milwaukee machine on the 6th, because I didn't know that a similar machine from Makita had appeared. But now that I have watched your video about the Makita machine, I have already written to the dealer that I want to replace the Milwaukee with a Makita. Its tests are also realistic and talk about usability, not unnecessary information. I'm a mechanic myself and it was cool to see how he cuts the pipe overhead and how the one-handed mode works. This is a real everyday situation. And it doesn't matter what load a tired hand gets. I liked it :) Keep it up, you're doing great! Regards from Hungary
Appreciate an actual side by side of these two. I'm heavily invested in cordless Makita, and I started into Milwaukee a while back and decided to stick with Makita when they came out with some 5.0 battery combo deals. This recip saw is one of the 2-3 tools I was waiting for Makita to come out with before I could get rid of the rest of my Milwaukee's. I got the basic cordless right angle to replace the hole hawg, and I was waiting on lights, a cordless die grinder and this and they've finally got all of that. Side note- the Hackzall is name as their smaller version of their Sawzall which is sort of the main name we've called normal sized recip saws forever in the US, like Skilsaws instead of.. whatever people call them. I also appreciated the vibration test as unscientific as it is, my dad's original sawzall and milwaukee sander would leave my hands tingling after a little bit of use and I knew it couldn't be good so I love Makita's AVT and worried when it wasn't on this like on my larger recip of theirs.
I own both of these saw and Makita win in every aspect. I gave my uncle the Milwaukee one. I'm heavily invested in both Makita and Milwaukee M18 & M12 platform. I'm slowly leaning toward Makita and M12 (for home use). Going to give away most of my M18 to family and friends.
Oh hi sir, yes your right dude I’m so crap about thinking about things like this I need to get more on it!!!! Thanks for your help and I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas 🤟🤟
Oh hi Jamie yes your right the Red Devil looks the better tool, the makita recip looks a bit diy with its brace bar but it certainly serves an important purpose, cheers for reaching out and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas 🤟🤟

I was going to give Milwaukee the win because of blade usage until the vibration test😅 makita>
Just shows looks can be deceiving, Milwaukee looks the sturdier. Teal power!

Happy holidays to you to sir 🤟🤟
I am a Makita guy. And the Makita has a belthook mount, for me very nice thing.
Cheers for commenting sir 🤟🤟
belthook mount sounds great, what is the product number? 1911R0-4?
I actually got stressed out seeing your fingers so close to the blade when you turned the saws on for the speed tests.
Makita is the Nintendo of the power tool industry
Ooooo explain my friend 🤟🤟
