Thanks for watching, I’m sorry it took me some time to hit the range as I did wreck my vehicle shortly after the frame review was done. The gun at first did have a few hiccups but I feel overall is a great option .
@@OfficialKienTran oem Glock internals and I have taken it back out to the range and have had great success with it. I even threw on a brownells ported barrel and had no issues.
@RandoWayne Gotcha. Thanks for letting me know. I was kinda hesitant on the grit grips after seeing a couple videos showcasing malfunctions. I'm gonna use all OEM internals for both frame and slide for maximum reliability, except run a radian comp and barrel. I'm also gonna polish all the internals, as well as use the non-windowed slide to keep debris out of the gun. Maximum reliability and performance over asthetics is my priority, plus I don't like having holes in my slide anyways.
It happens , totaled it coming home from work due to a vehicle failure and I’m am thankful that no one else was involved. I am good though, thank you for asking. Take care bro.
The malfunctions can be chalked up to the barrel I’m using. The frame itself is more what I’m trying to relay as “better” . The frame has so many factors that play to the users favor than a stock Glock. I have a Glock 19 that had the same failures and more in my time of usage. I have a few daggers that are ammo picky. There will be these things that happen. Ultimately though the grit grips frame is superior, at least that’s my opinion. I will try a different barrel and update. I get your point though but must stress the best part of this whole firearm is the frame.

Are you running SCT internals or OEM glock internals? Also, have you had any more malfunctions with the grit grips after you shot this video?

@@RandoWayne So what exactly causes the malfunctions? Was it the ported barrel?
Yes it was the ported barrel and the spring weight of the guide rod

@@OfficialKienTran sounds like a great plan to me!
Great choice! The grit grips frame and slide is one heck of the combination. It’s my favorite G 19 clone.
Once I held it , it quickly became my favorite as well. Order an fde one also
@@RandoWayne I've only bought the black versions. I'm afraid if I get a colored one my wife would know I have 2 guns LOL
@@billsrcadventures8806 that is seriously the most sound logic I’ve heard in a very long time!
Gonna have to work a lot more on my grip! Not able to keep from kicking up a good bit.
I still have times like that as well. Just keep practicing your technique . It will come. Take care
I'd replace the extractor and ejector immediately. Seeing the first ~half dozen cases go forward was a bad sign.
I’m thinking that if I want to keep using the ported barrel some improvements need made
First!!! Man, sucks you were in a car accident. Hope youre ok.

Might have to get me one of those nice units!
It is a solid unit. I’d go this as my number one and then the full sized dagger frame as a second for the most comfortable frames I’ve used.
What holster were you running?
I’m using a bordertown holster. Thanks for watching and commenting
You had more malfunctions in 2 minutes than I've had in 2 years on a Glock. How exactly is this better???
