I had one of these as my very first snowmobile when I was a kid. It wasn't the fastest thing out there but on the trails and shit I could keep up with the big boys because I could swing my my ass around and make that ass into that snowmobile go wherever I wanted it to. I could go full throttle through all the tight turns and curves and shit and I could out maneuver the bigger sleds

My brother had two of them in the 70s used to hit snow drifts they splash up on the head and it would just be steam in your face We were kids now I’m 57 years old that tell you how long ago it was

How good does it go in deep powder snow?

71_Sears definitely, but I would only say pretty good. She needs a bit more fuel somewhere in there, nothing a little tuning cant fix. She still rockets up to 55 on Big Bend hill though!

Does yours bog in higher temps?

Ethan Davis I have never owned a Spitfire but have owned other free-air cooled ( no fan or liquid cooling) snowmobiles and they all do to some extent in warm temps. They may not bog completely but will have much less power. In part from running too warm and in part because the carburetor jets are likely set for cooler temps also. It is really noticeable in spring the last few rides as snow is melting.

@@supergmx1046 ya when it’s warmer it runs richer but it shouldn’t bog to bad
