So happy to see you happy Jen!❣ You are doing amazing in your journey!!Great questions Anthony and Jen thnks for your openness to them. I myself have been in the scale of overweight, almost 200 lbs so I understand the loose skin and the effort & time it takes to get to a goal. 'till this day I struggle with weight and if I indulge too too much then its going up for me. But running helps alot in staying active. Great update and happy for you, I hope one day I get to run with you😊

In one of your video's I believe you mentioned you're vegetarian. Are you still a vegetarian? How has that changed sense surgery?

      Hi Rachel! Great question!
Yes, I am still vegetarian.🌱 It has gone really well post-surgery. I am able to get enough nutrients through food and protein shakes. My labs have come out good so far and I just Feel Better!☺️

@vsgathlete that's good. I'm a plant based eater, and all the vsg stuff I've researched says to eat high protein. Do you feel like you follow that stigma? I'm curious about it. You're one of the only vsg athletes and vegetarians I've found. We eat similarly, and I strive to be an athlete, so I have a deep appreciation for your content.

Thank you.🤗 There isn’t much info out there for people like Us - Athletes with Tiny Tummies.🥰
Absorbing enough nutrients is Always top of mind for me. I think Kaiser did a great job (at unintentionally scaring me) with all their classes Pre-Surgery. Yes, the protein aspect is incredibly important because of the amount of effort involved and recovery needed from all the miles I put in. I view the additional protein as a means to survive while reaching my goals. We’ve gotta find fun ways to incorporate it too. Because the same ol’ daily shake routine loses its gusto real quick. lol 😂
p.s. If you’re out there raising your heart rate and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone in an activity you’re passionate about…..You’re an Athlete!🤩
