Fastest Tommy Igoe Lifetime Warmup (Advanced) - 210bpm

This is my favorite warmup sequence that I've been using for years. In this video I attempt to play it at 210bpm.

Igoe's Lifetime Warmup uses single strokes, double strokes, paradiddles, flams, ratamacues, triplets, drum rolls, other rudiments, etc. Develops fast and controlled technique when played everyday at increasing tempos.

Those swiss armies could be burned 2-3x as fast, trust me it's a warmup. Looks like a damn good warmup. I wanna playit.

It is a great warmup that does much more than just get the blood flowing. It does several things at once: warm up, work on double stroke roll, practice just about all the rudiments and practice hearing over the bar line phrases. I use the intermediate version regularly, but can’t manage this advanced one in its entirety yet. I can get through the first half of it, but my flam drag and paradididdle variation are not up to this speed 😓
