Welcome to England in the 1980's. I remember walking past Roland and his entourage on Marylebone Road in London in 1987/8 and thinking "hey that's what's his name" Cool.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that these guys, along with The Specials are the best dressed musicians in history. Mod's and Rude Boys are the sh!t.

Along with Talk Talk; one of the most underrated bands of the 80s.

Fine Young Cannibals are a British pop/new wave band, founded in 1984 in Birmingham. Their name is inspired by the title of Michael Anderson's film All the Fine Young Cannibals, starring Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood. SMACK MERCIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

I was 25 when I first heard Good Thing and She Drives Me Crazy by the FYC ... Johnny soon became my favorite !! these cool young men were in several movies and tv shows because they have such a marketable cool look and sound - a mixture of jazz and pop and insane talent

Everytime I hear this song it just reminds me of visiting my cousin in England when I was 10 years old and walking the streets of North London.
Both guitarists were members of British Ska band The Beat.

This song proves to me that FYC were a much better ska band than a pop band. “She Drives Me Crazy” is fucking terrible, in my opinion, but this song is great. And even though “Good Thing” was better than “SDMC,” this song totally puts it to shame.
