Fifty-five years on and she looks more beautiful than ever. I only flew on the Queen twice in my life, but even so, they were the most memorable flights of my life.
Oh man… the end of an era, I keep enjoying these big boys flying above my house from time to time. Still at 10.000/9000 feet though, but even at that altitude it looks huge!
Oh wow such an emotional video of that last 747 leaving the factory and that water solute was amazing so please Boeing keep some for future generations to see as it is so iconic
Much respect to Paul Weatherman (the drone operator )who filmed this! some of the coolest footage out there and a true professional. Loved this video the best so far. And I can't wait to see this beauty in person sometime in my plane spotting career
It has been a pleasure seeing Her Majesty The Queen of the Skies serving the world with all of its needs. The Boeing 747 has certainly been one of the greatest aviation marvels ever built. Thank you Boeing for your incredible job making this jet one of the greatest in the world.
My first flight as a kid was on a 747 from SFO to Buenos Aires Argentina. I fell in love with that beautiful machine. You just felt so safe on it. Farewell to the Queen of the shies!
54 years of 747 production, that's a lot to be proud of. Airbus built the Superpig A380 and never made a dime off the program and stopped making them years ago. The 747 was first, and the 747 was last, and 747s will still be flying long after the last A380 is retired and scrapped or on display in a museum. Long live the Queen of the Skies. 747.
My dad is now starting to fly on the 747-8F for Air Belgium. I’m sad to see this beautiful plane being decommissioned but I’m also excited for the future! Thank you, 747, Queen of the Skies.
Yes,.. that's why we are called the "Incredibles" 🤗 And it was an incredible experience being part of this most beautiful lady of the skies. Ya know. There was a time when we were rolling a complete airframe every 3 Days. And did it for over 2 1/2 years at 100%. Good Times 🤩✈️🥰 ... remember,.. Behave Yourself 😂🖖
55 years of the most iconic plane in the world. Goodbye B747-100, 200 , 300, 400, 8i and F, we are all really proud of this revolutionary plane that you have made. Thank you Boeing, for making such a good airplane.
For over 50 years this aircraft has been the undisputed queen of the skies. Even though there shall be no more new queens after this, long may the 747s still flying rein supreme!
In loving memory of the Boeing 747 September 30, 1968 - January 2023 The greatest plane to every be built and will never be forgotten. Truly the Queen of the Sky’s. 😢
In 1969 when I was nine I was liveing outside of Roswell NM at a closed airforce base, Walker AFB. Boeing at the time was using the closed base for flight test for the 747. It had long, wide runway because it was once a B-52 base.I would take my bike to the runway and watch the 747 do touch and go.
I saw Asiana Airlines 747 final flight… So sad to see the Queen of the Skies being retired. Long live the queen❤❤ Edit 1: No one will like my comment😢😢😭😭
She gave me many things. Above all, she invited me to the world of the sky. She is the lighthouse of my life and my dream. I will watch over her until the end.thanks boeing
🛩I saw the last 747 when I was on top of the Skydeck in future of flight it'll be sad if we don't see it again forever the queen of skies ❤👑🛩 we have to say goodbye to the queen of skies when it take off🛫 we will miss the 747
How incredibly sad. I’ve been flying all over the world for work for 30 years. Most were long haul flights to Europe or back across the Pacific from LA to Australia. There was nothing like stepping on a 747 for the flight home. It always felt safe and secure. I will miss that feeling greatly. Thanks to the designers and engineers who dreamed up and built such an incredible machine.
The Boeing 747 will never be forgotten it will always be here with us and shall never leave our hearts minds and family the Boeing 747 is a part of aviation history and always will be
Beautiful but sad moment in history. Thank you Joe Sutter, for the most elegant aircraft to ever grace the skies of this earth. Truly the Queen of the Skies.
Oh man...... This is sad to see such a legend leave a factory for last time. But she will not be forgotten. The queen of the skies❤️👑✈️

I'm in one of the ORD flightpaths.....there is no mistaking the four engine roar of a 747.
It was awesome to see the plane roll out with a very much deserved Joe Sutter Logo!!!
I know this may sound dumb, but in all honesty this makes me have such an emotional response. This plane is nothing more than the very best.

The upper deck of the 200 variant was the best place to be. With only about a dozen seats, it was like an exclusive club.
