for some reason my youtube bugged out and before i clicked it it showed this video as 36 minutes. My thought process "philip doing a break down on a single smoke grenade clipping through the map for half an hour? sounds right. let's go"
I liked how he just watched the grenade, its like in a casual match or a game of TF 2 where something happens and you just stop and stare, admiring, thinking about it, and then making a whole video about it... wait is that just you playing secretly?
@@slyseal2091 super late but.. chef boyardee had a series of commercials where a kids mom would say no to buying some of their ravioli in the store and it would get knocked off a shelf and roll its way to the kids house
Idk why he kept staring at the thing so directly even pulling a knife to get it instead of trying to back paddle into it while looking around. This honestly looked more like a low rank game than anyhting.
That Smoke needed to escape but there was a ct hunting him. The smoke did a tactical flip into a hard to reach area, and for that reason he lived to see another day.
Philip your videos are becoming actual documentary level quality, not that it wasn’t before when you started to get in depth on “what if” major moments in esports years ago. Nevertheless, I’m glad I found you all these years ago.
The best physics were the CSS closet in the appartments, if you were a CT you always managed to get there before the terrorists and you simply jumped straight into the closet and appeared behind it as it was a physics object like the CSS barrels. So you got stuck behind the closet and stayed hidden and let some terrorists pass you by, then when they had their backs towards you you simply shot the wooden closet apart and killed the terrorists by this tactical ambush.
Watching a smoke grenade slowly roll and fall over the edge of a balcony is something I feel like pro players wouldn't do, but here they are, doing it.
Phillip, these have physics do useful gameplay aspects too. For instance, I've played competitive team games where we purposefully shot a dropped kit on pistol round away from the bomb site so the retaking CT's wouldn't have access to it. Along the same lines as shooting weapons, I've also shot utility to teammates after the round. Always in a team game though, never in a PUG.
I think some reasons ppl like physics weapons and nades include; -when dropped they don't interact with one another, and thus you can't make a fort of glocks to hide the bomb -you walk over them just fine -it feels good snagging a weapon via nades
"where do people draw the line between what's fun and isn't about physics?" A competitive match being decided because a dropped grenade randomly rolled down a corridor is extremely fun in my opinion. If it happened everyday maybe not but this was a once in a year happening.
damn philip you're gonna make your fans freak out if you keep making videos. Also, I like the idea of looking at interesting moments in random csgo matches. I could see you making a series where you take submissions of videos from people on reddit or twitter or smth and then you try to figure out what bug or random event caused an "epic funny moment'
The physics of physics enabled props in CSSource were what made the Source engine, the source engine and what made it different to 1.6 imho, I kinda miss it a lot in CSGO.
I would love to see a mini video on the physics in CS Source; specifically early on in the game where a dropped bomb had physics, and the CT could shoot it back to a Corner with paras and defend it.
Philip please do a video on the mystery of why Office has the lowest search times, who would want to play this map and why? Sheer nostalgia? And this comes from someone who enjoyed old Vertigo.
Can you make a video on why you miss a barrel stuff noscope with awp? Obviously, noscopes are random but when the whole screen is the enemy and you still miss is weird.
this reminds me of your video of the c4 blocking damage, dupreeh was the one who survived an awp shot thanks to a flying c4, source physics saved him once, but now it seems that trusting in physics doomed him on that round lol
Philip we all know this video did well because there's a red arrow in the thumbnail. Seriously though, it would be awesome if you made more of these. They seem like they'd be low effort, and interesting to watch.
Fun Fact: Turing and Ampere GPUs have an NVENC chip that enables the to render 70-80 FPS 4k video at 100mbps. This is roughly 15%-30% faster than the total time of the video.

Slamming out three videos today, that’s a hat trick.
Where's the third one?
@Anas Sherif I didnt realize philip actually helped his brother with his videos, I thought they had some sort of sibling rivalry going...?
I was about to say that!
it's because it's december, expect a lot of videos this month

That is one of the cutest cs:go moments I've ever seen. Go, lill' smokey! Go!
yeah go lil smokey, truly a great youtuber
dupeeh waiting to get the smoke was really cute too for some reason
Imagine if dupreeh actually managed to get that smoke and land it to ninja defuse to win the round... Just imagine.
I wish

It's December! The best season for new kliks videos... thick, fast, and fresh!!
It would be so cool to get a compilation of grenades getting into weird spots from pro games
this is just like the old days. keep em coming
They used utilities so well that even the smoke wanted to find a purpose in it's life..(Atleast it tried to)

Despite being an old engine with lots of limitations, Source physics never fail to amaze me.
The randomness of the physics is one of the reasons I really like this game more than the other competitors.
