  • So today we're back in Gravesham Kent to take a look at the final part of the converted tram tunnel we uncovered.
    This tunnel started out as an underground tramway transporting chalk and equipment between chalk quarries. During WW2 it was converted into an air raid shelter which was used by the factory workers and locals that lived nearby.
    The tunnel is now split into two separate sections. Within the second section there's a small hole in the roof that we didn't have the equipment to access the first time we visited. Since then we've invested in an extendable ladder so went back to take a look and see what's up there.
