This is my favorite video. I took this to the course and was able to see positive results. My tendencies to over-draw/hook shots and snap hooks with driver. Losing the arm wrestle and getting mental elbow in a better spot really helped square the face with my body turn. Going to need to find an indoor option now that the weather is turning here. Need repetition with these feels.
That's awesome. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and I'm really glad it's helped. Yes, definitely get the reps in. I really think this is such a key move for a lot of golfers.
Great video David!! I struggle a lot with coming over the top. Whenever I come from the inside it still feels the same. I like this drill and will be my mean focus during the winter months.
Awesome Jonathan, really exaggerate as it's a tricky stubborn move to fix but keep at it. I think this drill will help you and you know where I'm at if you have any questions.
Hi David. Great content as always. If you ever need lessons on how to do the over the top and steep stuff I am only an email away. So sorry that you have been evicted from your golf studio and cruelly forced to work in the outdoors. But, happy wife equals happy life.
lol 😂 hopefully it will get me a few brownie points. I’ve something else for a studio in the pipeline. You aren’t alone on the steep downswing, it’s so common. You know I’m here if you’ve any questions or need any help 👌
@@dlgolftips Thanks so much David. Snow is coming soon to Canada and I just finished setting up the practise net, mat and monitor in the garage. If I don't get kicked out of the garage my plan is to spend the winter re-setting my swing and sorting out that over the top crap......and getting my weight forward.....and grip.....and, and and! Its like work!
@@dlgolftips Golf Swing Systems have stock of the SPG-5 with a side barrier net, which you probably don't need but they are still very hard to find if you ever want one.

You could fit one of the Spornia nets in that space easily so you could hit some balls, at least an SPG-5.
Yeah I actually considered that, could do me in the short term until I get thinks up and running again.
