This generation of DJI O3 has a certain degree of water resistance. As long as the main unit is not directly exposed to the outside of the fuselage, there will be no problem. I have not found any problems with the exposed lens. I have also flown many times in heavier rainstorms. This generation of lens has a certain anti-fog and waterproof effect, which is very good. You can fly directly in the rain with confidence. Just remember that the image transmission host should not be directly exposed to the outside.
I didn’t do any special treatment. At present, I have flown more than 20 times in light rain, heavy rain, and heavy rain for as long as 400 minutes without any problems. When you watch other people’s dismantling video of DJI 03 image transmission You will find that the inside of the o3 device has been completely filled with thermal grease, and this generation of lenses happily does not cause the lens to fog due to changes in air temperature
