beautiful song! I just bought a duality 50 head and I´m waiting for it to arrive and watching videos about it to kill the time...

Very good boutique amp and guys. I have actually been using a Duality 30w as reference amp for testing my guitars since 2018 and I never looked back. But now I'll maybe get the 100w.

One of my favorite amps in my collection. My midi switching is flawless. I guess little things can happen to any electronic component. Great tones and a great review

Awesome amp ! On a side note, the Leviethan is one of the best modern high gain amps that offer tightness, clarity, string separation, without being synthetic, cold or too polished. Cheers from Morocco.

You can get a wonderful eric johnson tone out of that thing. Some of that lead playing reminded me of it. So good.

The manual recommends Greenback or Vintage 30, and suggests avoiding Alnico. However for your tastes an Alnico would help with the bottom end, and a Greenback more mid centric. Creams ARE one of my choices for handling bottom end, and Vintage 30 or Redback. Redbacks have a woody growl and a hefty thump, RedSeven would probably love them, but you Henning likely would prefer a good set of 20W Greenbacks. They’re mostly mids, nice singing quality. I was at first excited to see this cab mic’d up! A secondary room mic and you have a blend of close mic definition with room mic reality. There’s a 50W available, but the foot switch isn’t compatible with the 100W and vise versa. I was all excited to get a set of relay ports because they mate with my system, when the manual advised against it. So it has a modern MIDI implementation factory set to channel 1, which would also fit in, it’s just the most used default MIDI channel. Never seen a MIDI device fixed to on channel before but the Duality is factory set at Ch1. Of course these days we are all familiar with TAD Redbase, and this RedSeven amp looks like a TubeAmpDepot design. I’m guessing.
I was making lasagna while watching this video twice, so I may have missed that. Perhaps a third time? Why not? It’s HP42.

What's that song at the end of the video? It's quite amazing!

Sounds like a perfect 80's six strings E standard amp.

I would like to have the vocals more prominent in the mix. But as always guitar playing and tone is excellent. And your writing skills is great

The sales point (promotion) in this video is the amp, not vocals.

There was an amp in that song? All I saw/heard was a Beautiful voice and Lady in a green dress with red hair

Electronic components especially transistor relay switches sometimes fail. Those failures are accounted for by the manufacturer and are pretty much unavoidable. I've had stuff go wrong in my Bogners, Mesa Boogies my Soldano SLO and even my Wizard MTL2. Nothing, and I mean nothing is bullet proof. The switching issue here is no reflection on how great this amp is and could probably be rectified with a 25 cent relay. The amp itself is worth every penny they charge.

Redheads. So much trouble. But very nearly worth it.

€3000 for an amp with finicky relays seems a bit way too overpriced if you ask me. Maybe it doesn't matter that much in a studio setting, but live it would be a dealbreaker.

    • @dwftube
      @dwftube ปีที่แล้ว +1

Agree. Needs to be bullet proof at that price.

@@sanchezlabro3177 You're welcome. At that price range I'd get an Axe-FX. All the switching AND all the amps I'd need WHEN I need it.

    🟥7 rocks,
To your brothers credit things I have read, said that one should change camera and move the camera often to add interest and excitement to the video … our presenter while quiet animated can still benefit from exciting cinematic effects…. May I suggest transitions between camera changes for example a fade in or my personal favorite… (deep breath in) DIAMOND 💎 WIPE!! 🔹🔷🔶🔸 FTW!!!!

I mean, Henning's videos are already missing a pointless jump cut every 5 seconds, preferrably with slightly different zoom, so he's clearly beyond saving.
